Well I figure I'd stop in again and say hi.

The Rams find themselves in a funk again this year. Another rebuilding year but some progress is being made. I thought they played well against the Saints and Jackson was the key, but in the end it was up to Bulger and we all know how that turns out.

The key for the Cards to win is to stop Jackson. The Cards are ranked 22th in total defense and 8th against the run. They will be put to the test against Jackson, but you stop him you stop the Rams. With the Cards 30th in pass defense it still won't be a problem against Bulger. Bulger has been a big disappointment ever since he signed that big contract.

With the Rams being 28th in total defense 24th against the pass and 28th against the run, Warner should have a big day. The Rams have only had 15 sacks so far this year and I don't see them getting many against the Cards

Do I hope the Rams win sure, but I really didn't expect to much out the Rams this year but again I do see some improvement. The wins won't come this year but I do think they are heading in the right direction.

To all coming up be careful and have a great time in St Louis.

Maybe the rams can draft that Nebraska wild man Suh(Sue). He sure could'nt hurt joining Chris Long and your other first round DT that has'nt panned out so far.Spags being a defensive coach first can't resist a guy like that.Unless you need a new qb to start training.I'd hate to miss that defensive stud.Spags is all about the pass rush.

Actually I am afraid of Bulger getting it together. Looks like he had a good game yesterday and his receivers also stepped up.

Jackson will always get his yards and even when he does the Rams have been beaten badly.

If the Rams present a passing threat we will be in for a tough game.

Welcome RMFN. You appear to be a real respectfull fan. Thanks for that. I agree with you if you can't run on Sunday things should turn our way. However he is a great back and you guys played well against the Saints. Good luck, I hope both teams stay injury free.

Now on another topic, I am an older guy and the ladies picture under your name might just finish me off.

Two Games - Two Near-Lessons

Although the outcomes were similar, neither the Rams nor the Seahawks were walks in the park for NO or for us.

Which should drive home the point that when 11 human beings are on the field going up against another 11 human beings, anything can happen (It's why you play the game).

I view the Ram game identically to the way I viewed the Seahawk game (as one to view with more than a dab of fear and respect).

The Cards were well on their way yesterday toward showing everyone why they still can't be fully trusted not to lay a perfect egg. Fortunately, they were able to get their act together and pull off a win, but I still don't fully trust them.

Staying mentally sharp, focused, poise, intense and discipline remains this team's biggest challenge. Based solely on physical talent, they should put away StL just as they should have put away Seattle. But the mental and emotional aspect of the game is equally if not more a factor in the outcome.

Although living in NJ, my family's roots remain in St Louis. Great town. For those of you traveling there for the game - have a great time.

FTFY ;)

11 of us ASFN "human beings" would get killed if we go against any of the NFL teams.

Nice to see a fan who doesn't abandon his team during a difficult period. I can certainly empathize with your situation.

OCF good to hear from you again. Now I would have been upset if you had said a Falcons fan in hiding (remembering pnembra from Huddles). :D

Welcome RMFN: Looks like both teams will be down considerably personnel wize. Like you, I will be pulling for our team to win. I certainly hope it is a good, clean, game with no serious injuries.

I see you have the trust of a number of posters here. That certainly speaks well of you, as I have learned to have trust in them myself. They are a wonderful bunch of people, and to know that you are a familiar and welcome visitor here means a lot to me. Enjoy the game this weekend, and I hope your weather is great for tailgating.
