Well what can I say the Rams are in shambles and the Cards have put a interesting 1,2 punch with the QB situation.

The Rams Cowboy game was typical; the Rams held for about a qtr and half then get blown out the rest of the game.

The defense will get a little better with Brown coming back, but he has missed 4 weeks (suspension) so I doubt he will be much of a factor. Walls is useless, he couldn’t cover me and I run the 40 in 10 minutes. The run Defense hasn’t improve, ranked 29th so Edge should be able to have a productive day.

On offence, the Rams are a mess. They are on track to break the record for lowest TD in a season. Bulger has been missing receivers throwing off target more often than not. He has that looked of A Qb who doesn’t have any confidence in the protection. We have 1 Oline starter and that’s a rookie center, so maybe he should.

I’m a believer in the old adage “On any given Sunday”, but I really can’t see anyway the Rams can pull this out as a win.

Well again welcome to St Louie and those of you who know where I tailgate stop by for a brew and Good Luck to the Cards this year. I just hope the Rams get thru the game with no more injuries.

I feel your pain.

Grew up in St. Louis and still have family back there. They are despondent.

The one/two punch of the baseball Cardinals fading in a mediocre NL Central and the Rams bad start (amid high expectations) has been alot for them to take.

It will be interesting to see-- my sister and brother in law love Warner so much that with him playing, they are both wearing Warner jerseys to the game -- one an old Ram, one a Cardinal.

Wow...

Reading that sounded like a description of the Cardinals the last 20yrs!

St. Louis is a great town with classy fans but the Redbirds and Rams are having bad time right now.

I can't imagine Linehan surviving the year but you still have nice weapons to build around.

Can you spell T-R-A-P?

Don't let the Rams lowball us. Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce can light it up in their sleep. And I saw Clifton Ryan blow up Barber (real good) on at least one occasion last Sunday. Before the Tony Romo magic play on the botched snap, they had held Dallas dead-even deep into the second quarter.

If we can all agree that our performance in Pittsburgh is the standard for what we'd like to believe will be "Cardinal Football" from here on out, then our focus should be on playing Cardinal Football on the next assignment of the next play of the next series of the next game - without (a) worrying about who they are (or aren't) or (b) getting too far ahead of ourselves.

During the week, Eric Green, Rod Hood and Antrel have to get up to speed on Holt and Bruce, and our front seven has to make sure we don't get surprised by the Ram RB (whomever he turns out to be).

Barr has to make sure he'll know where Hall is on the field - so he can punt it in the other direction. Neil has to work on keeping the ball inside the left upright.

Our QB's have to avoid muffed exchanges and interceptions. Our ballcarriers have to protect the ball. Our O-linemen have to avoid penalties and be on top of their assignments.

If you ignore any of the above stuff it can beat you.

Remember, it's spelled T-R-A-P.

I think Linehan gets a pass this year with the injuries, but Rams Nation is calling for his head. I really think it's both Linehan and Olsen the OC corrdinator. The play calling has been horrible. Last week was the first time I've seen the Rams try to go deep down field. And that was only twice.

It might get better but a lot of us are looking forwward to the draft already.

I missed the game last week. How did Leonard look?

Lenorad looked good on the straight runs, but trying any sweeps he didn't pick up his blocks well and most where for a lost. But The depleted OLine also should take some of the blame.

At least you have a Super Bowl Trophy...

...we have been looking forward to the draft by October for too long with no SB to show for it.

Having "adopted" my local team (Rutgers) as college team to watch during the past couple of season, I got to see a lot of Leonard.

He's kind of a tweener - a big fella, but not as jukey or explosive as a Steven Jackson or Shawn Alexanderf and (although forced into that role in his senior year) nowheres near the lead-blocker that LorenzoNeal or Terrelle Smith is. He is a pure football player who can catch out of the backfield - a gamer who's bright and who will do anything it takes to win (and every team needs a few of those). And, of course, he's demonstrated that can leap tall players at a single bound. But there's no single superhuman aspect of his play that should terrify anyone.

Welcome back, RMFN! It's always a pleasure to see your avatar... :)

I'm guessing that the OC, Olsen is the same Olsen that was OC for the Cardinals back in the Jake Plummer days. Wow, that's too bad for Rams fans. Iirc, and that's questionable becuse the Cardinals seemed to have a new OC every year, Olsen is one of the most predictable, unimaginative play callers I have ever witnessed!

Certainly the Cardinals are expected to win Sunday, but they must be focused upon this game and playing their best. As mentioned Holt and Bruce, and Bulger have had good days against the Cardinals. Given that the Cardinals CB's are not the strength of the team, if not careful the Rams could upset.

That is the prototypical Arizona Cardinal fan statement right there. You are taking this so well you really should be rooting for the Big Red.

I'm concerned about this game. It is a SOC letdown type setup.

It's almost as hard to go 0-5 in the NFL as it is to go 5-0.

It is a HUGE test for this Cardinal team and they can't take it lightly because if they do they just might discover that:

Re: Avatar, let's see RMFN or SeattleCard hmmmmmmmmm
Think I'll go with RMFN.

Guys, Jeff is right, we CANNOT be looking at the Rams as an 0-4 team.
Let's see some intensity like we saw against the Steelers and blow these guys away !
