Well here we go again. Cards vs the Rams. I'm stopping by to say Hi and I'm hoping for a good game. I think the Cards have a really good up and coming QB in Matt Leinart. I think he will be a foundation for the Cards to build on.

I am worried about the Rams holding the Cards running game. We have had runners in the last 6 games gain over a 100 yards against our defense. The Rams seem to always allow huge gain a couple of times a game. Plus with Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald the passing game will be a concern for the Rams.

If anybody is making it up to the game you are welcome to stop by our tailgate and get a brew. If you need directions just PM me.

An effective running game for the cardinals is relative. If James can get around 75 yards on the ground, thats an accomplishment for the Cards.

This is a huge game for me. In early January, we're going to StL (to celebrate my uncle's 100th birthday) and I do not want to surrender bragging rights to my relatives yet again.

Yeah RMFN is definately a class Rams fan!

I wouldn't worry too much about the Cards running over anybody.
Like Phoenix weather predictions (which never changes much), I predict the Rams will go up by at least 14 and Matt will get huge numbers because we'll be playing from behind the whole game only to lose in the end because LD will have 3 false starts to make it 3 down and 40 while Edge catches the ball and gets to the 4 yard line only to fumble....:bang:

How do we lose another 15 yards? 3 false start penalties are only 15 yards. that would make it 3rd & 25.

With the Rams Run defense I expect Edge to do a lot better than 75. Haslett came out in a news conference and said the Rams have a Bend don't Break defense, Well I seen gymnast that could bend less the Rams defense. We may have beat the Niners but Gore had a big game against us as have each running back we played for the last 6 weeks.

The Rams are dead last in rushing defense, Running the ball, I think is the key to a Cards win and Stopping those runs is the key to a Rams win.

Great little tailgating graphic! :raccoon:

This should be an interesting game. Cardinals - Rams is beginning to shape into a great rivalry!

Let's face it, both teams are crap! The Rams benefited from an extremely soft early season schedule (4-1) and were given a dose of reality weeks 6-11. (0-5). At least, last week St. Louis managed to win at home vs. the 49er's, who are playing over their heads.

I think both teams will deliver a hard fought contest. While I think that the Cardinals have a better team they are crippled by the worst coaching staff in the NFL; well OK, except for Oakland.

I am thinking that the Cardinals will prevail this week! Of couse, I think that every week!:koolaid:

RE: The dome in STL

Could you guys turn the lights on there this Sunday?

Is it just me, or does that place look like a garage when half of the flourescent bulbs are out? It just has a kinda half-lit look to it.

Maybe its the tv

and like Jeff G -- I need the split. After growing up in STL, half the family is still back there and I dont want to listen to them.

Oh that's easy...1st down is -5 yard rush and 2nd down is 10yrd holding call on (Insert any O-lineman HERE)

Actually the Cards fans represent pretty well at pass games.

Yea it's pretty dark in the Dome. I would love for them to open the roof somehow, but I don't think that will happen any time soon. :bang: I liked the Games at the old Busch Stadium with both the Cards and the first couple of Rams games. Outside in the elements = real football.

When I Google Image "Big" + "Cardinal" + "Bust" I got this picture.

This is probably our last best shot at winning another game this year. Our win last year in St. Louis was the only road win we've had in about 4 years. That in itself is unbelievable. Both teams are horrible & Steven Jackson is licking his chops awaiting our swiss cheese run defense. I see James running for almost 100 yds & Leinart throwing for 2 tds against an equally inept Rams defense. This will be a fun game to watch & Cards win 28-27.

We also beat the Dolphins and the 9ers in the last 3 years on the road. Thus giving us our 3-29 road record in the last 5 years. :)
