Sorry. I just hate the Steelers. Don't really mean that but I am just so pissed right now that I can't stand it. I wan't the steelers to go 0-16 for the next forty years. I thought I hated the Cowboys, but after losing to the steelers in the superbowl I have a severe dislike for that team and the fans.

Them winning this game and causing us another two weeks of flux at the DC spot is just another reason for me to hate those clowns. They are starting to get close to the Cowboys for me.

I think I will just get a T-shirt made for the big game with "I hate the Yellow team" on it, and have some fun hating on who ever has the ball. Or who ever is winning. I don't know who I will hate more as the game unfolds. This is not a silly haha post, this is some serious stuff. Here's to hating!

I was at that Superbowl and the Steeler fans outnumbered the Cardinal fans 10-1. They were rude at best and obnoxious at least. I can't stand their fans almost as much as the team.

i honestly doubt i'll even watch the superbowl i can't stand either one of these old glory hog franchises,
the jets and bears would have intrigued me, even the packers and jets, but no, this just seems like some tired replay, and i'm not even sure these two have even met in a superbowl,
what is it about some of these football towns, how do they perennially produce title contenders?
they may have a downturn for a year or two, but even if they don't make the big game, they always contend for their division and more often than not, they wind up in the playoffs even if its a wild card,
especially green bay,
i mean heres a town most people couldn't find on a map of the united states even if you circled wisconson for them, and couldn't possibly support any other franchise sport, and yet they clip along with nary a care in the world, through one great season after another, whether its bart starr or don majkowski or brett whats his name or aaron rodgers, they end up right back in the big game,
yeah i know they had a lot of down years from bart starr to brett favre, but thats nothing compared to our drought, so yeah i am hating

Wow this is hilarious. I just came to create a new thread admitting my hatred for this team and you beat me to it. I had no idea how bitter I was until today when I saw the Steelers running away with it. I used to love the Steelers up until the Super bowl and now I detest them. They mirror their coach and are so smug. I just want to see them pulverized and James Harrison come down with the stomach flu on SB morning. I didn't realize how much joy I took from them missing the playoffs last year. I know I am taking the low road. Can’t help it.

The owner of my company gave me 4 tix to the Super Bowl & I ask a friend at work who was a Stealers fan if he wanted to go, he accepted. He's a good guy who didn't talk any trash before or after the game because he knew it ripped my heart out. Now days, it's Stealer this & Stealer that...hey we already beat you guys when it mattered. I live in Cowpie country & the Stealer crap is getting just as old!!! Hope the Pack throttles them.

Quite frankly, I hope Green Bay beats the Steelers by about 4 touchdowns.
There is absolutely nothing I like about the Steelers. They have a QB who is one of the biggest pieces of crap in the NFL. Not including the incidents with the women, he's just a grade A, low life, arrogant scumbag with the biggest sense of self worth I've ever seen in a professional athlete. Roethlisberger thinks his crap don't stink, even after the two near misses with the law.
Their defense is full of dirty thugs who hit with their helmets then cry foul when they get penalized.. Not like the Steelers haven't been given more gifts historically than any franchise in SPORTS, nevermind the NFL.
I hate nothing more than the delusional, belligerent fans here though. That's the biggest craw in my side. When the Steelers lose, they never lose on merit. They lose because the "refs and Goodell" screwed them. The Super Bowl they lost? Huge conspiracy against them. Then when it comes to "class", Pittsburgh fans are the absolute bottom of the barrel. Since moving here, I've been spit on, cursed at more times than I dare keep track of (including once when a female came up and swore at Taylor and I for wearing Dolphin jerseys.. if she wasn't female, she would have been knocked on her ass and stomped for dare disrespecting my child), had beer thrown at me, been told I "can't live here" if I don't root for the Steelers, had people throw rocks at my car and nearly run over by one.. I also saw a group of Steeler fans grab a 10 year old kid in the bathroom of Heinz Field and begin to rough him up before the Dad walked in and dropped about two of them. No kidding when I tell you, this is the WORST fan base I've ever encountered. I've gone to East Rutherford, Buffalo, Baltimore, Oakland and Foxboro wearing a Dolphin jersey and as an opposing fan and NOTHING is like what I've encountered in Pittsburgh. Most of the crap I got there was jabs in good nature.
Hell, I lived in PHILADELPHIA for two years, where the fan base has a reputation of being this way, and frankly they were passionate but not to this extent.
Here it has been anything but. These people are disgusting animals all of whom should be locked in cages. Frankly, I hope Green Bay mauls them and the sooner I get out of this miserable hole, the better.

I'm not saying that the league purposely cheats for the Steelers but I do believe they are given preferential treatment and that subconsciously the referees do lean toward the Steelers. It is a blatant fact. The two most obvious testaments to this bias are Super Bowls XL and XLIII but there are many on display every week during any given season (watch closely).
I'm not saying that it is some far reaching conspiracy either. It's just human nature really. Every game has some bad calls but when there is an obvious bent then it is not enjoyable and unfair.
Most of the time the calls go in favor of the more respected team but sometimes they get bent toward a much rooted for underdog.
I live in SEC country and believe that it is the most talented conference in college football. If someone then was to require me to referee a game between an SEC team and a Big 12 team I can not promise that although I would try my best to show no bias, that in a stressful situation (a go either way call) I would not fall back on that bias.
It's very hard to keep that sort of thing out of sports and IMHO the NFL has done a poor job of it in regards to the Steelers.
