The Steelers were my second team(back when I had one) in the 1970s with Bradshaw and the rest, but they are certainly in my top 3 hated teams now, mostly because of exposure to their fans.

I'm not saying that the league purposely cheats for the Steelers but I do believe they are given preferential treatment and that subconsciously the referees do lean toward the Steelers. It is a blatant fact. The two most obvious testaments to this bias are Super Bowls XL and XLIII but there are many on display every week during any given season (watch closely).

Sadly, this is 100% true. Every game they receive gifts, it's disgusting.

Other thoughts:

1 - Despite growing up in NJ, I had many friends who were true diehard Steelers fans, and who were always very respectful. Heading down to SB43, I actually thought that in the event we lost - at least it was to a team with good fans. Then I actually got to experience their fans in person. What a bunch of moronic inbred douchebags. How I hate them now.

2 - How about Troy Polamalu holding up 7 fingers?!? Hey asshat, Jordan did that AFTER he won the Championships, not BEFORE! This is just like the Steelers fans showing up to SB43 in #6 jerseys with last name "RINGS" on the back. I try not too wish ill on others, but should a wayward banana peel or Acme anvil find their way into the path of Polamalu (and/or that criminal James Harrison), there will be no tears shed...

Go Pack Go!

I think I will just get a T-shirt made for the big game with "I hate the Yellow team" on it, and have some fun hating on who ever has the ball. Or who ever is winning. I don't know who I will hate more as the game unfolds. This is not a silly haha post, this is some serious stuff. :) Here's to hating!
I think I am really going to get some of these Tshirts made.
"I hate the yellow team" on the front of the shirt.
"Worst Superbowl ever" on the back.

Pittsburgh is the team that the Cardinals want to emulate.

Cowpie's are still PE #1 - in this state.

Anyone who has more SB's than them, more power to them.

btw, I'M All for the Pack. THIS time.

I honestly hate both of these teams and their fans.

Yesterday during the game, I thought about the idiot Green Bay fans that sat in my scalper section in U of P last year during the last game of the season and the first game of the playoffs. They were obnoxious both times. And now they are excited. That ticks me off.

And Pittsburgh. Ugh. Am just tired of hearing about them. I was really hoping they would suck since the rapist was suspended for the first few games of the season, but nooooo. They had to go and do well this season. (And I agree that their penalities are often overlooked by the officials.) The only good thing about the Steelers winning the Super Bowl would be that all their stupid Six-Burgh crap would have to be replaced (though they would surely come up with something equally as stupid and obnoxious, no doubt).

My sister has Mendenhall and Big Ben on her playoff fantasy team, so she could win big money if Pittsburgh wins. My brother has a bet in Vegas on the Pack to win. So, I guess at least someone I love will get something out of this Super Bowl.

I will still watch, but I'm not nearly as fired up as I have been in years past. I blame the Cardinals and their 2008 season for that. :)

I logged on knowing this thread would be here. Not looking forward to this Super Bowl at all. I've been anti-Packer since living in Minnesota as a kid and, like most Cardinal fans, I CAN'T STAND the Steelers. :bang:

The "I hate the yellow team" shirt is a great idea.

Them winning this game and causing us another two weeks of flux at the DC spot is just another reason for me to hate those clowns. They are starting to get close to the Cowboys for me.

Scew Pitt I hope Aaron Rodgers annihilates them.

I already hate them more than the Cowboys and its not even close.

Cowboys by far have the worst fans and the ones I hate the most. Sounds like people are just jumping on the "hate the Steelers bandwagon" because they are successful. I have seen it with the 49's, Green Bay, Patriots, .....etc.

Without fail it always happens to successful teams. Man...how nice would it be if people felt that way about the Cards?

We play Pittsburgh at our home next year. Their fans are obnoxious enough as it is. I don't want them rolling in here after they have just won their seventh Super Bowl. Go Packers! (Packers suck too)
