Bench - Start
Gerald Hayes - Daryl Washington
Bryan Robinson - Dan Williams and Gabe Watson
Joey Porter - OB Schofield
Ben Patrick - Jim Dray
Alan Faneca - Rex Hadnot

Why not? Might as well see what these other guys have in the tank.

Start Skelton. Literally cut DA, then remove him from the team.

Start Washington and Williams.

Look for an OC and start courting him.

Look for a DC and start courting him.

beat the niners twice.

Draft the best QB on the board, and sign the best QB in FA in the offseason.

Do not draft any position other than OL, LB, QB and CB. That's it. And the QB has to be the first pick we take or don't draft one at all.

And this.

Start Skelton. There is a reason we traded up in the draft and shipped out McFadden to get him. Anderson is not going to get better or improve upon his many weaknesses. He might even get worse. Take your chances on Skelton to see if we really do need to invest a first rounder at the position. There are other needs to address such as on the o-line and OLB early in the draft. If he shows promise and an understanding of the offense, why not give him the keys to the offense in 2011?

Gotta fire Davis. I like our defensive players (we have at least 5 pro bowl caliber guys back there). They need someone with a solid playbook, experience at the 3-4, and leadership qualities.

Make adjustments on the 0-line. Try out someone else at LT. Levi sucks and continues to be a liability. Bench Faneca. He is obviously a shell of his former self. Try Hadnot in the interior.

Fire the Darn GM for heavens sake. That is where it all emanates from (in the real NFL world). How does he keep evading any culpability for the woes of the team for year after year. Supposedly he assembled this team. If he did not then fire the guy that did.

By the way Ryan Mallet threw for over 300 yds again and threw the winning TD in double overtime. No doubt in my mind he will go as the #1 or #2 QB in the draft. Next week AR vs LSU in LIttle Rock. Both 9-2 and winner likely to go to Sugar Bowl. On CBS nationally.

Oh look, things a coach can do in-season to make the team better. Funny, that.

you don't want to appear as if you are mailing in the rest of the season, but start giving some guys who usually don't play some more reps.
This just in... they already have mailed it in... the defense at least

You don't do anything just yet... Seattle is going to lose today, which means we will still only be 2 games out of fist place. Next Monday night against the 9ers is the determining game... lose that game, then you make the changes. Not now.

In your wildest dreams you really do not think we have hopes of winning the division?

Not me.

I'm fairly certain that the Cards will finish 6-10 or worse for the 14th time in their 23 seasons in Arizona.

Good Lord only 9 of 23 seasons with 7 or more wins and 3 of those in just the last 4 years.

This franchise treats their fans like Enron treated their employees pensions.

Where did I say this would make the team better in season? These are suggestions to prepare for next season for developmental purposes.

Starting Skelton would be a measuring stick to see if he is worthy of starting in 2011

The DC we already covered

Benching Faneca for Hadnot would be because Faneca is not here next season and we have Rex for two more years.

I stand behind what I said in the other thread that there is little we can do to save this season. These changes are solely to prepare for the following season; almost an evaluation period to see who deserves to be on the squad next season.

Well I just watched the first Cardinal drive on NFL Rewind.

There is one thing the Cards MUST do and that is either fire Russ Grimm or come up with a new blocking scheme. Every play at least one defender gets into the backfield unblocked and no Cardinal offensive lineman gets into the second level to block a LB.

If the game were in black and white I would think I was watching a Keystone Kops movie.

Well of course there isn't anything to do to save the season. No one's been saying that we can save the season. All I want is our coach to get off his indifferent ass and make the changes needed to become more competitive in games down the stretch. I don't want 40-7 and 31-10 scores for the rest of the season. I'd also like to win a game or two more than 3.

Second. Win straight out. Our division sucks but we can still win it.

2 games behind Seattle with them having tie breaker makes us 3 out with 6 to go. Sooooooooooooo No.

Same logic that keeps creating MN last stand. Each week it is no really this is it for MN if they lose. Cards are done. They have got to be one of the worst teams in the NFL over the last several years. The ugly has just begun to with last 6 weeks to get worse. I saw a replay not regarding Dockett but he was in foreground and was being double teamed and you can tell he was just standing there not trying to break it. Please stop with the unrealistic hope. The team has checked out.

I almost forgot but DRC needs to see his soft azz benched. The guy is way too cocky when he's being exposed every week by scrubs. I don't care if Michael Adams is too short, he plays with heart and girly DRC just lets Bowe waltz his way to the endzone untouched reminiscent of his equally soft and dumb cousin, Antonio.

That would be priority #1,2 and 3. Then start counting the days until opening day and the draft.
