We got plenty of receivers. Welker would put our #1 draft pick on the inactive list. How long is it going to take him to learn our system? You suggest giving away ANOTHER #2 draft pick. Let's see, some recent #2 draft picks for us: Campbell, Washington. Yeah we've had a couple maybe's and Cody Brown was a bust, but I'm not giving up our future for a half year receiver.
To be honest with you I think a lot of people don't really understand the value of a 2nd round draft pick. In the NBA for instance they aren't very valuable, but in the NFL they will quite often get you stud players like CC and DW.

I don't think we're "loaded" at WR, but we have much bigger problems than WR. We need to invest in the QB and OL positions, not the WR position.

Yeppers.

Team needs a QB, LT, OLB
I wonder how good we could be if we actually addressed them early & often?

We couldn't be better than 2 and O or 9 and 2 over the past 11, best in the League.

You say that like its a good thing, that means we were just out of other options. We are lucky he has played well up to this point.
lucky or not, had we traded that 4th round pick we'd be screwed. And he's played exceptionally well so far. Better than the "starter" he replaced

Why trade a draft pick for him? Let's give them Beanie and Bradley. If that's not enough, let's throw in a 7th rounder to sweeten the deal. Getting rid of Bradley will even out the salary trade.

Ideally, of course. Not going to happen, only in Madden. I'm just saying there are other options other than trading a draft pick.

Beanie, although hurt, is still our best option at RB, by a decent margin. And I love Ryan Williams
