West Coast offenses, Cover 2 fading away

Could the NFL be moving to the spread offense and the 4-1-6 defenses that try to counter it?

The Cards are sure set up for that. Dockett, Williams,Watson, Campbell. Porter and Haggans would be out but could that be why the Cards aren't worried about the OLB position?

DWashington in the middle and DRC, Tolar, Ware/Abdullah Rhodes, Wilson. With Wilson in semi-Rover mode.

Man I'd sure like to take that defense into Lubbock.

The secondary depth still scares the hell out of me. You want to expose the Cards...put 4 WR's in the game!!! We don't have the edge rushers or extra CB's to defend 4 wides on a consitant basis or 3 WR's & a great TE. The Colts, Saints & Pack absoultely destroyed us when we had nickle & dime personell in the game. I also hate the 3 safety look that many times the Cards consider part of their package.
