We thought season 2 was a cluster f nightmare and have totally lost interest by episode 2 in season 3.
Season 3 is always a transition season for a show. For better or worse.
I think the themes carry forward though, at least what they’re trying to show.
So very little "West" in "West World" again. The number one complaint I heard from fans was this felt more like Future World than West World.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
I loved season one, liked season two, kinda hated season three…. I am trying to decide whether to watch season 4 or just tap out now.
I have heard similar things from multiple people. It has been enough for me to give it another shot (although I have yet to start yet).We were losing faith, but this season has been great so far. Just don't expect it all to make sense in the first episode.
It definitely has echoes of Season 1 where you don't know when is when and what is what. This season is a big improvement.

That is a bummer. Last season was better but it couldn’t capture the magic of the first two seasons. Would have been nice to wrap it up properly though.HBO Cancels "Westworld" After Four Seasons - Dark Horizons

The show’s ratings sharply fell off in its third season and dropped even further in its fourth. As...www.darkhorizons.com
Bummer that they didnt get a chance to do a final season.
Man, I hope not. This Discovery merger has been awful but if they get rid of scripted shows, that’s the death of HBO.HBO and Discovery screws the fans but not shocking. Rumor is that Discovery wants HBO to 100% get out of scripted TV. HBO will die on the vine. Count on it.
Yeah I already cancelled HBO Max a month ago.
That HBO premium fee is quickly losing value to this household.
I just don’t understand why they’d remove their own original series from the platform.
Most likely but that’s a good way to lose subscribers. If I had to guess, they're probably going to loan it out to another provider for exclusive use for an amount of time.
