Is there any where you think you would be alone with a take? What sticks out to you?

I prefer players with personalities or “divas”. Fans that view players “Humble” or “classy” are the boring ones to me. Never cared for Larry Fitzgerald outside of catching passes. Loved dudes like Randy Moss & Terrell Owens though.

I'm not sure if it is an unpopular opinion but defense wins championships and the team takes on the character of a key leader, usually the quarterback.

U didn't show much love recently for the super diva Patrick Peterson

Marcel Shipp was Actually Bad was my introduction to this board (was passionately making the point on the AZCardinals forum and Section 11 pointed me over here) and I still stand by it.

I had a similar opinion on Centers. Not bad but I thought his stats were largely the result of getting 6 yards on 3rd and 8 before we punted. To be fair that wasn't his fault, we were a terrible team for much of his time here.

I thought the Cardinals should never have let go of Jeff West. Big mistake. Huge.

I was like the only person on the board who didn't think Pat Tillman was a very good NFL safety. Very good/great human being, but barely average as an NFL player.
Yep he wasn't a good starter. The year he left for the Army was the year Wilson was taking his job anyway.

The Bugel had the Cardinals "turning the corner" when he was fired. Another example of a very good coordinator but terrible head coach. Never going to buy into it was a mistake to fire him.

I kind of felt that too he was an undersized LB. Great guy, he's from San Jose so I'd heard of him when he was in HS, he kind of carried his team played defense and RB on offense IIRC.

My earliest memory of him was a story from when he was in HS he apparently got into a fight or started a fight with some random guy outside of school and beat the guy up pretty good I think the kid had to go to the hospital. Police showed up and after they left Pat's dad put him in the car drove him to the hospital and made him apologize to the family and the kid in person. I have seen several people who saw the incident and even they said he was a great guy, he made a mistake, he owned up to it and it made him a better person he realized he couldn't do stuff like that and he learned from it. Because he's from SJ we see stories about his family near the time of his death every year, you can see why Pat turned out as well as he did he has great parents.

Apparently that the coach should be tougher and more demonstrative.

Jake Plummer lost us ball games.

I remember the first time I posted a thread like that. It was when we played the New York Giants in a season opener. He fumbled snaps, threw picks, ....multiple turnovers. The blowback I got was pretty intense!

well there were two for sure, I never saw NFL talent in him. Never bought the hype. Solid ASU player though…

They kicked me off of the cards main site. Started when docket and Q faked injuries, said the were acting like turds and I meant it. Never mined that we upped them both early and offered outstanding record pay at the time.

I have a lot of strong opinion, never liked how whiz treated leinart or beanie, I never cussed or did anytjing against the rules, moderator just - pm me that too many popular fans were teed off at me and basically couldn’t control themselves. So I had to go. So they took their football and went home.

somebody told me about here, so here I am, i wrote for pro football central for awhile, they wanted strong opinion. Ron laworski got all pissed off at me once, about edge I think. How stupid it was too only have 10 rb carries in the Super Bowl after he lead us through the playoffs. And again 10 carries in the 09 playoff saints loss, the bounty game, Kurt’s last. That started the game with an 80 yard tht run, hardly seen the ball again, that’s just stupid is as stupid does crap.

nobody else said it - nobody
