What’s a unpopular opinion you have about the Cardinals whether past or present?

The Bugel had the Cardinals "turning the corner" when he was fired. Another example of a very good coordinator but terrible head coach. Never going to buy into it was a mistake to fire him.
I thought the same on Denny Greene

Regardless of this team's successes, I still don't think Keim and Kliff will ever lead us to a championship.

Jake Plummer lost us ball games.

I remember the first time I posted a thread like that. It was when we played the New York Giants in a season opener. He fumbled snaps, threw picks, ....multiple turnovers. The blowback I got was pretty intense!

I didn't even bother to mention Jake but yeah I was with you. Infuriated me when he went to Denver and started attending offseason workouts and doing all the stuff for Shanahan he wouldn't do here. But as I get older i realize lots of that was he had to "fail" here to see that he needed to listen to the coaches. And Shanahan was a much better coach than any he had here.

This is probably an opinion that is shared by anyone that has been a Cardinal fan for any length of time. I have had to say this for over 50 years and to many games to count (I was hoping this year would be different). That is "Same old Cards"!!!! 72 years old and still following the greatest organization ever (now that might be unpopular opinion).

It's a saying I have heard repeated many times but I think it's true.

Good players (and teams) hate losing more than they enjoy winning. This is where the Cardinals should be.

Losing should be nothing short of repugnant.

I haven't seen this fire from the Cardinals since perhaps the game with Green Bay. I want to see it.

Michael Bidwill is not the ONE apple to fall miles away from the tree.

The two constants of the Cardinals organization are:
1) The Bidwill family business
2) The longest active sports championship drought

I think my first post was about giving $8 million to a 34-year-old Running Back, that could barely walk. With Emmitt Smith, Bill & Company saw an opportunity to gain ticket & merchandise sales at the expense of victories.

It's been about 15 years and people are still holding onto, "with Michael & a new stadium".

I never warmed up to Warner. Didn't like Whizenhut at all from the get go.

I loved Whiz. He overstayed his welcome but Whiz is where this organization turned a corner

Michael clearly wants to win. I’m supportive of that

Uh-huh.

The Glazer family has been reviled on two continents for focusing on profit and not wanting to win. So far they have 2 Vince Lombardi trophies, 5 Premiership titles, and about a dozen shiny Cups & Shields (the metric system for trophies).

Clearly the fan definition of "wants to" is not part of the equation.

Warner who took us to the Super Bowl

Palmer

Of all the factors that led to the Arizona Cardinals' 49-15 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Sunday's NFC Championship Game, the biggest trudged into an interview room inside Bank of America Stadium wearing a sharp navy blue suit and a predictably glum expression. Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer knew how bad his night had been. The flight home, the offseason of second-guessing, all the questions that would arise in the wake of it probably would be even worse.

This one, as he was more than willing to admit, was on him.

Sure, you can point to other reasons for Arizona's blowout loss. The Cardinals' top-flight defense couldn't contain Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, and Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Petersonmuffed a punt at a critical juncture in the second quarter. But Palmer had six turnovers attached to his name when this contest ended. He picked the worst possible time to suffer through his worst game of the season.

The really sad part is that this was supposed to be the year when Palmer put all those issues -- along with the theory that he wasn't capable of taking a team deep into the postseason -- behind him. Now all those questions are right back in his face, as his team tries to make sense of what went wrong in this contest.

"I kept digging us into a hole," Palmer said after completing 23 of 40 passes for 235 yards with one touchdown, four interceptions and two lost fumbles. "And we couldn't find a way to get out of it."

The worst possible scenario for Palmer was exactly the one that played out on Sunday night.

I hate Bruce Arians. (not really, but I don't like it when players/coaches move on like this - he essentially quit on the team)

Don't get me wrong, I loved him when he was our coach. But looking back, it seems pretty obvious he conveniently "retired" when he saw how old and washed up the roster was. IMO he was the one responsible for pressuring Keim into fielding the oldest NFL roster the year he "retired".

I wasn't cheering for him when he won with Tom Brady last year. He conveniently unretired to inherit one of the most loaded rosters.

There are certain former guys I can never root for - like Matthieu for example. I hate how he took so many shots against the Cards when he departed, especially when I thought the team had only ever been fair to him.

I think this is the exact opposite of what happened TBF.
