What’s a unpopular opinion you have about the Cardinals whether past or present?

also, Frank Sanders is in the top 10 of all time receivers for this organization and doesn’t get the love he deserves. That dude was as clutch as they come.

I don't think that is unpopular at all. Everyone who remembers Frank Sanders has fond memories of him. If you ever get to meet him, he is humble, great guy.

He didn't put up Rob Moores stats but I remember him making lots of big catches late in games.

I think this is the exact opposite of what happened TBF.

We all had suspicions that he was forced out, but I think he had too much clout with Bidwill.

After back-to-back non winning seasons I think he saw the writing on the wall that this team was done and he didn’t want to be a part of a rebuild in any way, shape, or form.

Bidwills should the sell team. The team reached playoffs 9 out of 100 years of playing.

I actually believe him. He was burned out, had some serious health issues. I think he truly meant to retire.

But he just isn't one of those guys. I have seen this with males in my family. Retire, get a little stir crazy, and go back to work. My uncle in New Mexico has done this 3 or 4 times. He is 86 and still substitute teaches on the Pueblo reservation.

I don't know about that. I remember people openly hoping when Sr died the team would be sold.

To be fair, we’ve had some really great receivers over the years… that would be a good off season thread.

I was sad to see Frank leave for Baltimore; would have been fun to watch him, Q, and fitz on the field together.

Talking this second half of the year I want to see men with attitude. I want everyone playing like they are JJ Watt. Right now they are playing to soft.

More than Keim, who has hung on through another complete failure head coach selection?

@MaoTosiFanClub has gone over this a couple times and I’m pretty sure Arians was forced out by Michael.

I think the personnel moves Keims made were heavily influenced by Arians. The preference for veterans over youth

But I think the Cardinals believed that they could win without Arians even though the roster was stale and needed a complete overhaul.

And also consistently dropping very easy passes. I guess that’s my unpopular stance. I appreciated sanders but was always hoping for the upgrade.

The fact that Keim has had so much rope extended to him only reinforces my belief that Michael wouldn’t have pulled the plug on Arians after essentially being the franchises best coach ever.

And knowing Arians and his pride, I feel like we would have already heard about his feelings especially after winning the super bowl. There would have been a quote like, “Hell yeah this win feels good. Especially after being let go in Arizona. I guess this old guy can still coach baby.”

Say what you will about Keim - he is not very good at drafting but is EXCELLENT at trading.

FWIW - Keim is responsible (as GM) for 4 10 win seasons in the past 9 seasons (75-66 even with Wilks debacle). Which would mean he has 4 out of our total of 5 10 wins seasons since 1977. Sucktitude for us as a franchise (since 1977) but he has done a nice job. He selected BA who many didn't think would ever be a HC. Yes, he selected Wilks too. Then he pushed all of his chips into the middle by drafting a 5-10 QB and hiring a college coach with a losing record. I think that is paying off so far.
