Does anyone think he would provide the one-two punch in the middle with Bryant? The way I see it, with McGlockton, Bryant, and Suggs up front, this team could really kill on D.

McGlockton is mostly done. Sam Adams would be a better choice as a run stuffer. Word is he's looking at Buffalo and vice versa.

We should get him. From what i've heard about him,he is the defensive side of the ball clubhouse version of Blake.Maybe 2 negatives will make a positive.

I would have to agree with bob. My first choice would be Sam Adams and all signs point to him going to buffalo. Who is the best DT left????????

I posted the same thread a while ago. I would like to see us sign McGlockton. He's a good DT with a few good years left and he takes up space and would take a double team. Good run stuffer and he would free up the LB to fly around. I'm also for getting the "Big Daddy" on our side. He's a good player. Either one and I'd be happy.

I really doubt the Cards go after McKlockton because he has a lot of issues. Not giving 100% effort all of the time. History of off field issues. The Broncos gave him a lot of money a couple of years ago and he is available because he isn't worth the money. Another swing for the fences by the Donks and a whiff.

I've always been a big McGlockton fan he's a very underrated player but I think his best days are behind him.

Chester actually revolutionized the position in some ways, in Oakland he was so fast off the ball that he kept getting offsides penalties and then the replay would show he wasn't really offsides. he got so good at it that the Raiders kept petitioning the NFL to review the calls and inform refs to be more careful. I know as his career went on, the calls happened less and less, even when he still had his quickness. I don't think he stopped timing snaps, I think NFL refs actually LEARNED that Chester was really playing within the rules and adapted, which is pretty rare in the NFL.

At the right price he could help us, if we have to pay a lot we're better served with other guys. I think he could really teach Wendell Bryant a lot I think they're similar type players(Chester better against the run) but I'm not sure teaching is something Chester does.

All the physical tools in the world and a real sucky attitude. He begged to come to the Chiefs where he dominated one or two plays a game and then took numerous plays off.

He is starting to slide talent wise and so I see 0 real upside anymore to the guy.

Chester is a cancer! In Oakland, he took plays off. When he wanted to play, he was very good, but he rarely wanted to give 100% He actually told a coach in Oakland that asked him to get in the game during a critical 4th quarter defensive stand, that it was not his turn in the rotation and refused to go in.

IMO, the cards need guys that will play every down and give it their all, they don't need a guy like McGlockton.
