.... or even the 4th pick if our qb is still available. We could then get our top choice at QB of future and draft RB, Guise or Jones, with our pick at 15, or maybe even Michel in R 2.

We need a qb much more than our current RB. RBs are easily replaceable. As much as we all love Johnson, a true 15 year franchise qb is worth 4 or 5 Johnsons.

It would take Johnson and 2 #1 picks to move to 1st overall. I get what you’re saying, but it’ll cost too much to move that high. If we’re going to trade up, I think our target team should be the Bears at 8 or the Buccs at 7. It’ll still cost 2 #1s to move up that high.

I would trade DJ for the top overall pick, but I doubt Browns would do that. DJ is awesome but I'm not thrilled to pay any 27 year old RB $13M plus per year like we will have to.

If he come back healthy and in 2016 form he’s worth every bit of 13 million

He has the right to state his opinion or thoughts.I can see where something like that would not be totally out of the question. You can get a RB a lot easier than a Franchise QB.

I think teams are more likely to want an elite defender on a rookie deal. I think every team would ask for Budda to go along with picks.

Target should be 1 or 2

DJ doesn't have the wear and tear on him like some 27 year old backs. He was pretty lightly used as a rookie, had one heavy year, and sat out last year, essentially. Feels like the last injury was just a freak occurrence, but his legs will be fresh.

Sissy, we need a poll!! So the majority on this board wouldn't trade DJ straight up for the #1 overall pick?

I have no desire to trade a known quantity running back that is more or less our only offensive weapon going into 2018, for a rookie that hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL. Plus, DJ wouldn't be enough to get to 1, so it's like asking if I'd trade my Camaro for a Lamborghini, it's not going to happen.
