The Cardinals didn't have their 2nd interview with Steve Wilks until Friday. He was interviewing with the Titans a couple of days earlier.

I think the Cardinals already knew that Shurmur was heading to the Giants. Thus the Cardinals were waiting to see how the 2nd interviews progressed with Keith Armstrong and Steve Wilks. Clearly, Wilks' interview went so well the Cardinals went right to work on a 4-5 year deal. Gambo is adamant that Wilks was at the top of their list (with Shurmur and Munchak) for three weeks now, but MB&SK wanted to stick to their process.

Gambo was so adamant I can only conclude he got his information from Michael B or Keim. Probably Keim

IMO if shurmur told Keim he would come here wilks would still be in Carolina. This hiring does not make me hopeful for an offense that could possibly be one of the worst in the league.

Excited based on info so far. You can't hold the lack of franchise quarterback against HIM. If he's all he's said to be as a motivator and leader of men that is obviously a huge plus.

Hopefully, the talent on defense can be better developed and reach their FULL potential (see young defensive backs in recent years).

His player playing decisions alone should have him fired. His lack of understanding the game as a HC should have him fired . His scheme on defense should have him fired. Big difference if this team was 1-15 last year. This team was good. 8-8 without 2 key pieces. We could have Tom Brady and this poo show would still be bad
