And when Cooper got extended playing time the Cards had their best rushing games of the season.Who is going to be seen more.................? A offensive lineman blocking or a Defensive back in the open field making a tackle or defelection etc: the most visible gets most props etc;.Badger makes a highlite play and all his other mistakes are glossed over yet Cooper gets blamed for Stanton getting hurt by some fans. Some guys are just picked to be whipping boys while others get pass after pass. Cooper and Niklas can do nothing right in some fans view while Matthieu and Peterson get mostly free rides.:bang:

Not to this fan. I have high hopes for all four. But I am an optimist though when it comes to Cards players. I still think Levi Brown can turn it around. :D

I guess Cooper and Niklas could start by getting and staying on the football field.

Cooper will be a bust to some fans no matter what he does.Even if he played to Pro-Bowl level it wouldn`t be enough for some fans.As for Niklas he had double hernia surgery in the Spring, then sprained his hand in camp and then got the high ankle sprain.I hope he can avoid the injury bug this time around.

I think this is going a bit overboard, but I do believe there are individuals who believe Cooper is a bust if he doesn't become a pro bowler.

I don't believe anyone's disappointment with Niklas is anything other than due to his injury.

Just what the board looks like to me regarding these two.

cooper got a pass when injured. then his second camp he overwhelmed, thats when the tides turned on him. If he blows up this camp, it will turn back around. If not, he deserves the criticism.

TM has played on our team at a very high level, cooper has not. simple as that.

(I want cooper to be great and havent been down on him but I will be if he doesnt become a starter this year)

Hogwash.

Earn a frigging starting position and then spend more time on his feet then on the ground and the vast majority of us will be chanting his name.

Can't beat out Larsen or Faniaka isn't what's expected from the 7th overall pick in the draft.

That's it exactly.

Injury derailed him (he looked very good in very limited time) and got the pass. Expectations were that he'd take command of the starting job last year, and instead he struggled mightily...flashes, but mostly bad play. That's ok if he were a mid round pick, but he was a top first rounder...I'm not looking for flashes.

This is the boom or bust season for the guy. Sadly, I'm just hoping he's gonna be decent...when we drafted him I thought we caught a monster in the run game...now I'm hoping we just got something we don't have to throw back.
