Let's see if you can guess.

Will return with the results.

You might be surprised.

The 2 highest paid OL, Iupati (53.5) and Veldheer (39.1)...ugh. Iupati dealing with triceps injury didn't help. Veldheer dealing with switch to RT could be a factor, if we are allowing for mitigating circumstances.

The PFF guys do a decent job of trying to guess what the playcall actually was. It's useful but not gospel.

Boehm's grade all the more impressive when you consider he was blocking DT Haloti Ngata much of the time.

I was hoping you would say Boehm as he and hump are the only long term mainstays on the line right now.

Yep, that is about exactly as I thought after first watch. Well, Veldheer is a little worse than I expected - but not surprised considering his preseason performance.

I have not had the nerve to rewatch the game, just to depressing so nice to see these numbers without having to relive that disaster again.

Slightly OT:

I follow the approach of my old HS track coach, the late Fred Wohlers who didn't believe in "saving" athletes by not working them too hard early in the season.

He believed that the better-conditioned you were in preseason, it would carry over into being in better shape later in the season.

Resting our vets may, therefore, prove to be a miscalculation because our older athletes may be out of shape and/or subject to injuries in earlier contests (& the more serious early injuries might not allow those players to be available later anyway).
