What has happened to Bryant Johnson?

He doesn't even get the ball thrown to him anymore. Is he not open? For our speed guy he's never the one we throw deep to. He's qucikly looking like a bust.I know he's the 3rd wr but it's like he's non-existent out there. Look at our 4 1st round picks prior to Fitz. BJ,Pace,Bryant,Jones.That is unbelievably bad drafting. Pace has pretty much been a non-factor since his early sack barrage also. BJ and Pace still have potential but if players are going to show someting they will usually start doing it by now.

It takes a very good passing offense to keep three guys involved every single week. Right now, we can't get one guy good looks every week.

I agree, the guy can catch the football and make some good moves when he has a chance. Boldin or fitz are usually shadowed on their side of the field so he's got to be open at some times! It's more important to get BJ involved to loosen coverage on the other guys too. Making our offense even stronger.

Well, BJ is three receptions away from matching his catch total from last year.

So it seems Johnson is improving. He is the third WR, so he proburbly doesn't get as many looks as Boldin and Fitzgerald do. He has shown flashes IMO. He is in his 2nd year, too early to be throwing around the awful 'b' word yet.

I believe Pace is really close to being good. He is all over the QB, he just needs to 'finish'.
