Thank u but getting a center with the 15th pick is something very difficult to predict
Keim knows he has to do a better job with 1st rounder pick and taking a center is not the best answer for keim detractor

Billy Price is exactly what we need in the middle. We have to get stronger there first, imo.

if he's a 10 year starter then idc what round he comes from. not like he's been blowing away his first picks anyways.

if we wound up with cousins i'd have no problem with that pick

Don't wanna anty up a long term 18m yr. deal on Cousins. Would rather have Stanton and transition to the rookie late in the year. It's not a Warner type flyer with Cousins, it's a big franchise commitment I don't think they should make. He doesn't take them to a new level, imo.

I think that Iupati and Veldheer may be shown the door.

I'm intrigued about Flowers but how is he on touch passes? It's either 20+ yards downfield or he runs. Which seems to be most of the time. His down field passes look great but it is a highlight video.

He reminds me alot to wilson in his first year. Maybe a late wonder, who knows. He leads his reciever and is elussive and can buy time and throws well on the run. Maybe a diamond maybe just dust...

Mitch, who is OC? Or will DeFilipo call the plays?

I was thinking JDF would call the plays---but I could see him bring Deuce Staley (RBC PHI) with him as OC, particularly to help assimilate David Johnson into the offense. I will add his name in, thanks to you, Metcalf.

Looks as though he'd be a great punt and kick returner! Of course, NFL players are a lot faster than the scrub opponents in his highlight video....

So, is this who we are going with. I thought we still had time to decide.

I had Flowers on my sleeper watch list going into this year. He is an outstanding athlete. He’s kind of the opposite of Jackson in performance. While Lamar went significantly forward in his pocket passer skills, Flowers was mostly the same guy he was last year. So when he was good he was very very good, but when he was bad he was awful. He made too many careless throws and showed little advanced technique. Many teams are thinking WR. I think he’s Day 3 but he will be drafted.

Round 2. Anthony Miller, Memphis.

I’m on board. A pure hands catcher with some Boldin toughness.
Totally agree. Unless there’s some skeleton in the closet, whoever drafts Miller should be real glad they did so.

The thought of Cousins makes me nervous - would we be getting someone with a winning spark or would he turn out to be the next Pete Liske?

If KC would sign for 18 mil a year I would sign him today, and it's not even free agency yet. pay the fine for tampering...:)

Nice work as always Walter. If we sign KC like you have I would rather draft LG Quenton Nelson in the first. He reminds me of a cross between Larry Allen and Conrad Dobler. He has Allen's strength with Dobler's meanness. The guy stay's on his man and locks him up consistently. I just think we would have that ten year Pro Bowl LG that this team needs and I believe he can start day one. If that happened we might be able to still trade back up into the first and get our QBOTF in Mason Rudolph. So far I keep hearing he's not going top 15 so I think it would be huge to get the best guard and one of the top QB's.
