our first team getting torn up by denvers second team

uhhhg. my perspective of the season has been changed - I am trying to keep it maintaned by - it's only preseason - but that was pathetic - twice I saw denver rb getting tackeled by our DT's 12 yard past the LOS....sick sick sick. I'll reserve my season prediction until after the giants game, because the last three years I have nailed it exactly after the first game of the season, but my gut says 6-10, 7-9 at best. Horridly painful game to watch...

I just got home and was thinking about recording the game at12:30 am, but after reading all these negative threads, I think I might just go to bed.

No more injuries, right?

Well, I'll take that over something to Boldin or Warner at this point.

Just something I read on the Denver board that may be appropriate. This isn't that unusual for a Denver preseason game, some teams decide that they don't want their guys to get hurt against Denver's blocking schemes, so you'll see huge run games by Denver at times because defenses almost lay down?

This was being discussed last week when they were all having the Mike Anderson vs Tatum Bell debates people were pointing out that some of Anderson's huge game could be attributable to playing a team that was more interested in keeping it's DL healthy than trying to stop Denver. In the regular season that doesn't happen.

Maybe I'm grasping at straws but could it be that's what happened last night?
