What IS best for the Cardinals?

Like I've said many times, $8M is a pay CUT. I haven't heard the offer of $12. Not for two years anyway. Was it $12M the first year and $8M the second? I haven't seen anything more than $20M total and a willingness to go a little more than $10M per year. I don't know what is mean by "a little" in this context though.

Agreed, we don't know the specifics. What is meant by $8-10M? If it like you said, you'd take the average and say 9, but also as you said that would be a pay cut his first year. That is far from fair after leading a team to the Super Bowl. On the other hand $10-12M is a fair offer IMO.
