Per Yahoo Sports, the Cards rushing average so far this season is 93.5 ypg which means we stand (28th) in the league. Based on this, our running game is not proven until we can show that we have a ball control running game.

Cant figure out why everyone bashes the cornerbacks. I think we have perhaps the best top 3 CB's in the league.

I will say Penalties, Run Blocking, Tackling.

100% agree with everything in this post - except top three - I'll give that to Carolina.

Although Rod Hood is so underated its criminal. He's a Top 8 CB in the league.

Zeno, I couldn't have put it any better myself. Team discipline is really lacking. Thank goodness we have an offense clicking on all 12 cylinders and an opportunistic defense that has been giving our offense extra chances to put points on the board.

I really respect and trust this coaching staff we have now. I firmly believe they are the best collective group we have had in place since....well, as long as I can remember. I trust that they will fix team discipline and iron out the few remaining wrinkles we have in order to become the team I think we can become.

This teams weakness is not a personnel weakness. It's a mental weakness--they need to keep their head in the game on EVERY play. So far that's been the problem. They give up one or two big plays a game that in which there's a mental breakdown.

This is without a doubt the team's biggest problem. The break but don't bend defense. Week after week they stuff the other team only to give up a huge play for a first down on third and long or some ridiculously long TD.

Our pass defense is really weak as game after game we see opponents receivers running wide open downfield.

Team's biggest strength? Downfield blocking by our WRs. That is what separates our offense from the other throw it 40 times a game teams.

Weaknesses sure, BUT....

We are also VERY STRONG in other areas! So far, that's covered the weaknesses. I mention this over and over but keeping things in perspective, this is ONLY year #2 in the Whiz'-Grimm era and I for one am ecstatic about how far this team has come in a lil' over a year and a half. GO CARDS!

Strengths
QB, WR, DL (DT's and DE's)

Weaknesses
CB and RB depth (assuming Edge will be gone next yr)
Safety's - depending on how Rolle progresses
You can never have enough LB's

and lastly, I would like to see Grimm's assesment of the OL at seasons end.
