TV money drives sports. Phoenix is 12th largest market and growing. The league won't let that market sit empty.

So today you had a team in the 12th largest television market and the 14th largest television market playing each other.. and the only markets that saw that game in the United States, were the 12th and 14th largest television markets. If the Cardinals left Arizona, the cowboys television market would probably take back over like it used to be before the team came.
