What do we have to do to make the tournament? I'm guessing beating ASU & Washington is a must?

Your recent level of play has been so good, just win one of the two, play close in the other and you're in. You might be in already. And then there's still the PAC tournament.

I dont think the loss to ASU hurts UofA's chances too much. As long as they earn splits against the Washington schools and Bay Area schools they should be fine. I cant imagine the Cats getting 20 wins, with wins over Kansas, Gonzaga, Washington, & UCLA, and not be invited to tourney.

21 locks us in, but either way this weekend in huge. We need another road win and I think WSU is as close to a must win as we have the rest of the season.

Split in Washington and we go back home with 3 left to play (2 conference, 1 at Staples). go 1-2 and we are on the bubble selection Sunday at 20 wins. 2-1 and we are locked in.

Kansas beating Oklahoma tonight would help.

Going to the Tourney would be great and some of these kids deserve such a reward, but in all honestly it's not that big of a deal because the streak won't continue past this year anyways. But we'll be back in 2011, I'm fairly certain who our next coach is going to be (probably 90% sure after a conversation I had last night) and we're going to win big very, very quickly.

Barring a collapse UA is in. They have the most impressive OOC win in the Pac 10 with the win over Kansas.

Crazy as it sounds if both UA and UCLA won out, I think UA should get the higher seed.

The best thing that can happen to UA right now is for the team to continue playing well and making the tournament.

The more noise we make before selection sunday, the more the media will focus on basketball and our story as a team, instead of the coaching search.

The less we hear about the search the better our chances become at landing one of the big names on our list.

Once the Tournament starts in three weeks we should be fine if rumors start leaking at that point which I assume they will. Arizona Basketball is big-time in the world of college hoops but not big enough to eclipse March Madness like the recent openings at Indiana, Kentucky, or UNC did.

I'm not sure how it helps? Congrats to Kansas anyways tho.

Wins @Washington State and vs Stanford to close the regular season would give the Cats 20 wins and should be enough.

Well it obviously helps because we beat Kansas and they just got their best win of the year and one of the best wins in the conference all year. Any team we played that performs well down the stretch helps our SOS and RPI, especially the ones we beat (Kansas).

True, but needless to say the Kansas win probably doesn't mean as much as wins right now. It's nice to not have to fall back on earlier play and I'm very confident that the Cats won't have to. ;)

The UofA probably won't make the tournament after losing to WSU. They will most likely lose to Washington tomorrow and even if they win against Cal and Stanford, they will need to win at least 2 games in the Pac-10 tournament. They could of made it a lot easier if they would of won their last two.

STRONGLY DISAGREE! With two wins our resume looks better than last year when the Cats got in as a 9th seed. Reputation still counts for something.

The officiating is a joke. That 4th foul on Chase was unbelievable.

I'm telling you just look at the UW schedule and figure out average free throw attempts at home vs on the road, its impossible. they averaged over 30 FTA's a game at home in conference games this year.

Good team but it's amazing how many more free throws they get at home.

I have ASU a few seeds higher than that. Arizona sounds about right for now.
