What pick would you need to get to trade Josh Rosen or is he completely off the table?

I get it. But 5'10" and the shortest arms in NFL history doesn't bode well for his future in the NFL.

Yes that is totally fair . He might be a spectacular bust. That is what I was going for when I started this journey

But multiple times I watched him outrun an entire team and in the same game throw darts in an incredibly compact and fast release

That is what sold me. Just how fast that ball flies out of his hand.

So at the end of this the last thing I want is a trade down unless it's a Herschel Walker deal.

The Cards get to take the best offensive or defensive player. Don't get cute .

If you love Rosen take Bosa or Williams

If the tape on Murray just beat you down too then take him.

Either way take the elite player . There are 3

Like Krang, I am supportive if they move on from Rosen to Murray. I haven’t seen the hype yet, so if anyone can post videos of his games (his every snap, not just highlights) that show his ceiling (the Alabama game showed the same issues Rosen has), I would be appreciative.

Right now, I wouldn’t make the trade of Rosen, even if we took Murray. I would hold both of them until one made the decision for me.
The Alabama game is the only game you can base his season on really, the rest of the team's they played were inferior & had horrible defenses. Alabama had a top 5 defense & Murray only played the one season. He was like 19-37 or something like that against Alabama with 109 yrs rushing. Alabama's defense in college is kind of the equivalent of an NFL defense, maybe clemson also. Murray would give that running dimention for defenses to think about but there's no need to start over again at QB, I think rosen will be just fine working with Tom Clements & KK. They will get him more polished, I'm sure of it.

Cards can get Bosa and Murray if they really, really want. Take Bosa at 1, and if SK is hell bent on Murray have a plan in place to trade Rosen to the Giants at 6, if Murray is still on the board when the Giants are up. Question is what plus Rosen are the cards willing to give up to make this deal. If its too steep, keep Rosen and move on, if its a straight up trade for Rosen, SK will do it and preach the contract benefits The giants now have with Rosen’s contract as a bonus to make the deal. It may take a lower round pick as well. I don’t offer the deal until the Giants are up. Either way you get Bosa or another D stud and keep your current QB or still get the QB who you feel fits your system better. Yes there are cap ramifications with two picks this high but figure it out. Hopefully the rumors the giants have interest are true, bur they also could take Haskins.

Watch the West Virginia game. At the time they were a top 15 team.

Thanks, I see the attraction and the concerns. I definitely don’t see the inevitable star some others see, but he does have that potential if he lands with the right coaching staff.

His physical limitation won’t be overcome by coaching

Wish the Murray haters watch the full clip

Doesn’t matter how many times I watch it he’s not going to grow and his arms are not going to sprout a few inches longer

His arms generate power, and he can make all the throws from different angle

Btw i can't change your mind, let's see in some months who is right

Having the #1 pick in the draft will turn from one of the best draft experiences to the worst for me if we take Murray.

I would like to retract this statement.

This is a similar situation as when K9 says something controversial and my immediate reaction is shallow/biased. Once I step back and analyze it for a while, I can start to embrace the new thought process. Don't forget, he was the very first person (even before the rumors) that suggested we hire KK. I thought it was ridiculous.

Drafting Murray when we have Rosen also seems ridiculous. Or does it?

Funny you mention K9. I don't think he's made one post in any of the Murray threads. Curious...

So TheCardFan, If you're moving to the fence, and reconsidering which way we should go, I would respectfully suggest relying on what you can see with your own eyes, and trusting your own football instincts when making you decision sir.

And, if you then conclude that Murray is not the next Russell Wilson (which, if true, would IMHO tip the scales in favor of drafting Murray), great. But at least you gave him a fair shake.
