Big Red homerism at its best... Gotta love it. We don't need anymore Nebraska players!

I wouldn't avoid a player because they are from Nebraska, they've produced way too many quality players in the league.

I would be a little careful with Bullocks. He's a good athlete and has decent instincts, but he's not a hitter.

If he's available at 75 I would take him in a heartbeat. Other than that look for James Butler in Round 4 or so...

Is that the guy from GTech? If it is, he is one of those guys whose stock is falling for no apparent reason. I like Shazor from Michigan but he is more of a SS. One guy i would like in the 5th-6th is Dustin Fox from Ohio State. He played CB for most of his career at OSU but is projected at FS in the NFL. He tested out as one of the best athletes OSU has had. He's one of the fatsest players on the team and has a very high vertical.

I wasn't under the impression that we really needed a free safety.
Not this year, but next year we will. I'd rather have a guy come in and learn, amybe play spot duty, behind Griffith and then start for us next year.

JMHO.

Second-day developmental prospect that could contribute on special teams this season, at the very least. Say, 4-6th rounds. Considering all the other positions where we need near-immediate starters (CB, OG, RB, TE), it would be a bad idea to invest a first-day pick there when we just signed a starting FS in free agency.

Depends...

..on who's on Denny's board.

Don't be snowed by the USA Today write up trashing our safeties. Buzz around the league is that Robert Griffith can still play at a high level.

Even if Green did draft by need, I'd see us placing CB, NT, TE, G and RB higher than FS as a draft priority.

Definatley not a hitter, but he is a ball hawk. Very good in coverage. Speed is decent.

Here is a crazy idea but it makes alot of sense to me. Draft Rolle in the 1 round and Justin Miller in the second and play Rolle at FS and Miller opposite Macklin. What do you all think?

If you think Miller lasts till the #44 pick then great idea. But since he wont its a pipe dream.

Okay well either McFadden or Browner then, point is Rolle could be a great free safety (Wilson & Rolle). WOW.

Actually if we go with Browner in the 2nd I would rather have him at FS then Rolle.

Rolle is a natural instinct CB with 4.49 speed. Browner has ball hawking and coverage skills but is slow at 4.63. A Browner(FS), Rolle(CB) combo would be the better situation IMO. I wouldnt mind that at all. if we fix our RB issues before the draft.

those are impressive numbers, i've never heard of him, i'd love to see him in a cards uni if we could get him late, but he'd have to be available in the 7th unless we want to spend a 5th on him, we don't have a 6th.

There is a FS by the name of Gerald Sensebaugh. He graduated from North Carolina and is an incredible player & athlete.

Amazing player, that could be picked up in the 6th rd.

Yes he is. And no he won't (be there in 6th). Why are all these good players going to last this long? They don't. If he's there when we pick 111 (4th) and you like him - you take him. It's that easy.

Some other 4th round possibilities Sean Considine - Iowa, Donte Nicholson - Oklahoma, Vincent Fuller - Va. Tech, O. J. Atogwe - Stanford.
