I live in Japan so the games usually starts around 4 o clock in the morning and most likely not televised. I woke up this morning and checked out my fantasy football team and I see Beanie with 3 tds. When I saw that my heart was pounding fast because it looked like we were dominating in the game. So I go check the gamecast for the Cardinals game and the score is 27-17 with under 3 minutes left. I was so happy to see that but everytime the page refreshed Manning threw a touchdown pass. What exactly happened? Did our defense suck that bad?

The Cards blew another 2nd half lead. Something they've been really good at now for several years.

Yes. Defense got about zero pass rush and Manning was throwing to wide open receivers. First drive was 6 plays to go 80 yards and the second was three, I think, to go 48 or so.

Wow man. Unbelievable. I really thought we would win this game just by looking at the numbers. I'm only 22 and I have been a Cards fan since I was like 16. I don't know how many times I have looked at the gamecast on ESPN and it shows we are winning and the other team makes an amazing comeback. This particular game reminded when I woke up and we were beating the Vikings last year.

I've been a die hard fan since 1972 and this has been the story pretty much all that time. This year reminds me of 2006. Close win at home vs opponent we were supposed to handle, followed by a few heartbreakers in a row. We'll see how the rest turns out.

You are still young enough to spare yourself from this torture. Stick with rooting for the Tokyo Giants.

The running game was really cranked up today. If Whiz only went to the run when he needed one yard instead of going to the passing game. This frustrated me as much as the officiating.

Pretty much this. D played very well until the last quarter. Too bad games aren't 55 minutes long, we would have been set!

Haha I should so I wouldn't feel so depressed every Sunday night. I'm from Arizona so I try to be a loyal fan.

I haven't watched a full game this season but by looking at the numbers and highlights it looks like Kolb stares down receivers. All the highlights where Kolb throws an int there is always a guy open somewhere else but he is so fixed on throwing it to Fitz or Heap. Seems like it. It just seems to me Kolb isn't making the right reads or making any reads at all.

Set? We'd be Super Bowl Champions. 13-3 in 2009. Division Champs last season. 3-1 this season and Vince Young wouldn't have a career high of 387 passing yards.

Well your observations are right on. Kolb is not seeing the field and locks in so much defenders are reading it.

Cards screwed themselves plenty, but that call has to be an all time top 2 worst calls in NFL history!

I think we should of won without that bad call but it did seem like Patrick Peterson was mentally down right after that call. It looked like he gave no effort in covering Nicks.

Didn't even look at it from that angle...going to give Roger a call and recommend that. 5 extra minutes to run more commercials! Think of the increased revenue!

I complain about the Cards using no press coverage alot, but Peterson was playing up on the line on that play and got burned. He had no safety helping over the top, and it was practically the same play when he got burned by Steve Smith at the end of the half in the Panther game.
