Set your alarm clocks, Michigan fans: The 5-seed Wolverines have a late-night start against 12-seed UC San Diego in the first round of March Madness in Denver on Thursday.
And this is one you can't sleep on.
It's not the dream start time that you would think of to begin a NCAA tournament run, but hey, the good news is Michigan fans will be able to watch all the madness unfold during the always-entertaining early slate before tuning into the game on Thursday night.
The Wolverines find themselves on the 5-line, perhaps lower than some projected, after finishing in a tie for second in the Big Ten regular season and then running the table in the Big Ten tournament.
However, that all goes out the window now as the Wolverines prepare for a tough game with a dangerous 12-seed in UC San Diego.
