There was only one game I was so good that I got the max score and then it started back to zero. That game was Dig Dug.

Me too. My friend and I could finish it on one quarter each. That elbow punch was unstoppable.

Take all the elements of Street Fighter and then give me Gambit, who is a big ball of cheese in that game.

Arcade:

Galaga

I grew up on this game.

Shooting:

Area 51

I would two gun it John Woo style

Sports:

Absolutely correct. Now that the new Nintendo Revolution will allow Sega Genesys games, I am holding out hope for this title. Because EA holds the license now, I aint holding my breath though.

My orthodontist used to have that game at his office. I used to leave school an hour early on my appointments just so I could play that game for free. Great game.

I could always destroy my friends playing Wayne Grezky's 3D Hockey on the N64.

I remember this one day.....

I had never done it, but I wanted to play so bad I bet my uncle I could play Super Mario Bros, and beat the game, going level by level (no warping) and not die once. I swear, I was in the zone, I was unstoppable, I should have been tested for performence enhancing drugs. Not only did I do it, I have never been able to replicate that days events since on any level with the small exception of when I beat my brother 42-0 in Madden 05.

my brother and I have this small ritual where we play each other and each time the other scores on the other, the defending player has to take a shot of Irish Whiskey (half shot for field goals, full shot for any TD or safety). By the end of the game I was watering the stuff down as not to kill him

Who says that video game players are dorks? That is quite possibly one of the best video game stories ever.

What's this "were" garbage? :D I still play games a lot, it's a great stress reliever.

I'm probably best at Ninja Gaiden (Xbox), Katamari Damacy (PS2), and NFL 2k5 (Xbox). For classic gaming, I loved Mario 3 on the NES.

RBI Baseball for NES. I always laughed at the foul ball sounds. Remember those?
