I would have to say Julian Peterson of the Seattle Seahawks. Both Fitzgerald and Peterson had the ball, and Fitzgeralds knee was on the ground. In a situation like that, by the NFL rule book, the ruling says that it goes to the reciever.. So what happens?? Seattle gets it back!

KC game

The no-call holding AW at the LOS, where LJ breaks off that long run that Rolle pulls him down by the facemask.

I saw the penalty from 130 yards away, but the ref, looking right at it 3 yards away blew it

I have to say it would be against Chicago. Remember Edge's fumble? IMO his forward progressed had been stopped for quite some time before Urlacher finally wrestled the ball out.

in terms of one that just sheer drove me nuts the one in the Bears game.

JJ returns a KO down the sideline, gets tackled. Gets up, tries to walk past a Bear player who grabs his leg, no call, 2nd Bear player grabs his leg nearly tripping him, JJ spins and slams the ball down, and they call a unsportsmanlike on JJ.

Stupid as hell reaction on his part but how they ignored the 2 attempted trips, dead ball, on the Bears was beyond belief. ANd he'd had a good return too the 15 yards was crucial, right before the punt return by Hester.

God that game still kills me.

it was a good call but i wish the officials would have missed dockets knee going to the ground on that fumble return for a touchdown on monday night against the bears,
that play would have put it away for us, but "we let em' off the hook"

I enjoyed the phantom "crack back" block that was called on Adam Bergen.

I thought that was the worst. How could they have done that to us? I watched spikes all year that seemed just as bad and probably worse than J.J.'s and nary a yellow flag ever flew. If they don't call make that rule-only-enforced-against-the-Cardinals call, we wouldn't have had to punt to Hester, we win the game. I'll never get over it.

Rackers kick v/s San Fran on Christmas Eve... missed by 1-2 feet and was called "good". I think we beat this one up at the time, but I was sitting right in the path of the ball in the 14th row and it didn't look good.

It was never talked about, and many probably didn't see it.

Yet, another HORRIBLE call in the MNF Bears game.

Grossman dropped back to pass, and Adrian Wilson timed the snap count perfectly.

As Wilson is streaking past the linemen still in there stances the cent grabs the back of Wilsons shoulder pads (picture the horse collar rule) and then grabs, from behind the front of his neck. Thus spinning him around in a circle.

No call.

It was the most blatant, and disgusting non-call I have EVER seen. I wish I had a clip of it.

Falcons game I believe. I think it was towards the end of the half, Fitz got raped in the end zone, DB grabbed one arm pulled it down for an incomplete pass. Of course there was no call and the moron calling the game described it as "an excellent defensive play"

Has to be the no call on AW...I was in the bar (the only Cardinal fan of course) and even other teams fans were dumbfounded at that non-call.

Probably not as painful as those mentioned before, but it sure looked to me like Fitz caught long pass from Matt inbounds on last drive down by 1 yard line. Never saw a replay of it or a word from announcers. Would have put ML near 500 yards and probably won the game as a subsequent pass was intercepted IIRC.

A bit of a change of subject... But does anyone remember the raping of Rob Moore v/s the Cowpies that ended one of the greatest combacks in Cardinals history? It was the November 1998 homegame and we were down bigtime at the half. I think we outscored 'em like 21-7 in the second and got pretty much screwed on a last second shot in the endzone to Moore. Jake threw a pretty crappy pass but Moore came back for it and just before he could wrap his arms around it a Cowpie CB grabbed him around the waist and threw him to the turf. Moore still got 2 fingers on it, but damn.... Of all the teams I like to beat..... damn....

I remember. Madden was calling the game -- and hated the Cards. He was really pulling for the 'Boys. But through the game he became a Plummer fan -- first time he'd seen him play. When the ref didn't throw the flag -- a friend of ours swears the ref reached for his pocket flag, hesitated, and then seemed to think -- might as well end the game now.

Madden was furious -- he swore the Cards would have won, even though that touchdown would have just sent it into overtime.

The upside was that photo appeared in Sports Illustrated, clearly showing the defender holding the reciever with the ball still on the way. That -- and several other rediculous calls that season (I think there was a Jets touchdown that wasn't), was what finally got instant replay approved.

That game cost us the division championship -- but when someone pointed out to Jake postgame that the Cards would have to win out to make the playoffs, Plummer said, "Then we'll win out."

Letting the Rams change their mind at the end of the game after accepting the penalty.

That bothered the crap out of me as well. It was a long shot but Racker's still should have gotten the chance.

Like the chance he had at the end of the Bear game.

Sorry everyone. I couldn't resist.

2 Bears game calls.

I thought Edge was down agianst the Bears, I really did. And I swore D-Dock had a touchdown on that fumble recovery. How was the dude from the Jets catch and subsequent run a td, but Darnell's wasn't?
