Who had Tyrann Mathieu selected before Matt Barkley? Don't you have to take a chance on Barkley if he is sitting there at 110?

Im all for Barkley in round 4, the risk/reward is great. At least i could go into the season feeling like theres a chance the QBOF is on the roster. I like him, good dude, smart guy, hard worker, leadership qualities...

I don't want to draft a QB this year, but I wouldnt be upset at all with Barkley at this point.

Definitely, without a doubt you take Matt Barkley. The guy would have been the 3rd QB taken last year behind Luck and Griffin for crying out loud. Let him sit behind Carson Palmer for a few years and we will be set.

Does this set up Landry Jones to be pushed to the 6th round? Is that a better value? I just think Barkley will have so much to prove which is the kind of motivation you can't buy.

I think Jones will still be taken in the 4th-5th round, where he was originally projected.

Just imagine what's going through Barkley's head right now; he went from a top 3 QB last year to a 4th rounder (assuming he's taken in the 4th). Talk about a chip on your shoulder.

Why waste the pick?

A bust is a bust is a bust is a bust is a bust is a bust is a......

I dont care if his "grade" is a 90.5, if the guy has no future in the NFL as an impact player, then dont bother.

If we draft him, then Keim and Arians obviously wouldn't agree with your opinion.

Don't argue with him... he obviously knows what he's talking about

It just seems like some people think it's never too early to throw out the "bust" tag. Hell, I thought it was outrageous when someone started a thread last season about what a big bust Floyd was after FOUR games!

But, to call someone a bust as a Cardinal, before we even picked him, is just... ah, whatever.

I want him but doubt Arians does. He doesnt have arm strength to "push ball down field" and we need "pull" from our guards...ughhhh

Barkley wouldn't be a fit in Arians offense, and BA isn't the only person stating that...I've heard countless reports that say he would be best served in a West Coast system.
