He is on the block. Padres rumored to be talking to four clubs, including Dodgers and Dbacks.

What is your solution to 3B?

Headly isn't worth trading for... not even CY. At this stage, I would think it's time to take a shot on Davidson. Certainly can't be any worse than what we've had thus far, and who knows, maybe we get lucky and he follows a similar path as Goldy... or, not.

I would trade him for Headley. Headley in handcuffed playing at Petco Park, he has great numbers outside of there. I can see Davidson but I am leaning towards Wheeler at this point. Just my 2 cents.

Trading Upton to Detroit for their 3B stud prospect and promoting Eaton.

We already have Davidson and Wheeler in our system for 3b. I would rather bring up one of them and keep Upton and do something with CY.

Davidson has taken a step back at 3B again, and is essentially a 1B now. He's a sub .920 third baseman in AA. No way is he getting a call up this year.

No deal for Headley is imminent with any club because rumor is SD is asking for a lot and teams aren't willing to meet the asking price.

I would have liked to have seen ARZ sign Aramis Ramirez, it would have cost them $10M more in payroll but imagine him in our lineup hitting behind Kubel & Goldschmidt.
