PROSPECT REPORT: Just yesterday, reader Marty Keene from Stowe, Vermont brought up the name Sofoklis Schortsanitis. At this time last year, Sofoklis was all the rage among the NBA Draftniks. He eventually slipped into the Second Round, landing with the Clippers, who've let him develop abroad since they've no use for a raw PF with Elton Brand, Chris Wilcox and Melvin Ely already on board. Don't look for Sofoklis to play in the States until the late 00's. Playing for Cantu of the Italian Serie A League, Schortsanitis is predictably earning only a few minutes a night, scoring 5.1 points per game while hauling in 2.8 boards.
