To those who voted - Winning the Super Bowl and Getting to the Super Bowl: Really? Anything less and you consider it not a successful season?

Winning the division will constitute a successful season. It wasn't listed so I chose: a playoff victory.
Last year's roster was 37 seconds away from a Super Bowl victory, I see no reason why this new roster can't at least duplicate. We didn't lose any significant starters, the free agent loses are all replaced with equal or better players, we have a new explosive back, the line will have another complete year together along with a healthy Sendlein, and DRC will have another full year under his belt (it's easy to forget he was just a rookie last year). Hell, the addition of Beanie Wells should be enough as it is.

Winning the division isn't that big of a deal compared to playoff wins. It'd be better to win the WC and 2 playoff games than win the West and win none.

On the other hand as a fan the home playoff game is fantastic.

I don't know though how people would react to a home playoff loss since the Cards have never lost a playoff game at home in their entire history.

For years I have stated my belief that the goal is to become "not bad", "good", and "great" in that order. Last year we went from "not bad" to somewhere between "good" and "great". We must be good. We must win our division and put ourselves in position to compete for the Lombardi Trophy. In some ways, my measure of success is to be in the hunt, in others, only winning it all will do.

Legit challenger to win it all, top 4 team.

Winning it isn't something you can bank on ever.
