I used to play center. We did a center sneak once in practice. Snap to QB who touches ball. QB lets ball stay in center's hands. Center stays in place for a second, not moving, QB sells scramle to right side of field, RB & Ends sell routes to right side of field, Center then takes off down left sideline. It was awesome - 50+ yd td for me. *takes bow*

*sigh * I wished we used that in a game

I'm sure someone needed that explaination of the dynamic of the play, but not me...that and a "tackle-eligible" were my only opportunities to score in a game. I had plenty of chances to score in practice, when the coaches would have me play "the big fat fullback" against the 1st team defense we were facing that week...

I just found it and was passing it along.

I found a diagram, but it had a wing back taking it instead of a lineman. Not nearly as cool.

Marino's pretending he was going to spike the ball and then throwing a TD was pretty slick
That's the one.

The Cal Tech final winning play (and the call) are kinda hard to top.

My favorite touch football play (perfected playing with my kids) I called the "Aw Sh*t Play. The way it worked was - the receiver would take 4 or 5 steps into the secondary and exclaim: "Aw sh*t! When the defender relaxed, the receiver would get up off the ground and go right by him on a deep pattern.

I can't believe no one has brought up the fake spike play by Marino and the Fish vs the NY Jets. That was the greatest trick play I have ever seen. The Dolphins O-Line didn't even know that was coming

How about in Son of Flubber when thy filled the guys uniform with flubber gas and threw him around the filed. That was awesome!! In the Pro Bowl a while back Cowher called a fake punt and Marshall Faulk ran it for a touchdown and set a new Pro Bowl rushing record with that run.

Wasn't it Colorado that got a 5th down once? :D

Don't know if that's a trick play or just benefitting from the ignorance of the officials, and the other team.

How about the New York Giant's opening up the doors to the stadium to get a little "boost" for their game-winning field goal?

God, that pissed me off.

Back in the late '70's or early '80's the Seahawks ran a play, I think it was on MNF, where the holder for a field goal (Jim Zorn) stood up after getting the snap and the kicker ran straight by him, straight up the middle of the field and caught a pass for the first down. Hilarious!

And the kicker's name?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Efren Herrera

He, and punter Earl "Thunderfoot" Weaver combined to help head coach Jack Patera make the Seahawks early years as entertaining as possible.

I would say the shuffle pass to Adrian Murrell against Dallas in the 98 playoff game.

I also remember the hook and ladder play that worked perfectly when the Dolphins were playing the Chargers.
