It sounds like Hudson may get a strt of two before the all-star break, is that still the latest? Anyone have any updates on a timeline for Hill or eaton after his setback?

I read someone that Hill is hitting off of a tee and will see how his hand responds. It is healing slower than thought.

Hudson has been reported Allstar break for a while now. Hill as mentioned is coming along a lot slower than expected. And eaton a while yet.

I don't like the latest news about Hudson: Diamondbacks starting pitcher Daniel Hudson, who is coming off Tommy John surgery, had his rehab outing for Double-A Mobile cut short after two innings Tuesday because of stiffness in his surgically repaired elbow, the team announced. Hudson is headed back to Phoenix to have his arm examined by team physician Dr. Michael Lee.

As far as Eaton, it looks like he will not require surgery but I have not seen a return date for him yet.

Hudson tweeted last night it felt completely different than last year. Don't know if that's a good sign or not. Lets hope its simply 1st time out stiffness with taking the precautionary route.

From Piecoro:
The most optimistic timetable before Tuesday’s setback called for a possible return later this month. That might be unlikely now, which could mean rookie left-hander Tyler Skaggs could be doing more than just keeping a rotation seat warm until Hudson returns.

I was afraid of this:

Daniel Hudson suffers another tear to UCL
Diamondbacks starter Daniel Hudson suffered a second tear to his UCL during his first rehab start June 4, MLB.com reports. Treatment for Hudson will be determined after an evaluation with Dr. James Andrews, but the tear likely indicates the end of his 2013 season. Hudson was working his way back from Tommy John surgery to repair the same UCL.

This might accelerate Bradley's progression, who's still dominating the Southern League. The rotation is lefty heavy, and neither righty is setting the world on fire. Kennedy has been just plain bad, actually, and Cahill can't make it twice through any lineup. With McCarthy on the DL, the D-Backs have an unusual need for right-handed starting pitching. Don't think the FO wants to change what's working with Collmenter, though he may just end up spot starting into the AS break.

But Bradley could at least get a call-up just for a stress test. He doesn't walk guys, he keeps it in the yard, and most of his stuff is big league ready.

Sounds like Aaron Hill could be back Tuesday.

I expect him to be very rusty when he gets back but hopefully picks it up before the all-star break.

Last I heard his hand hasn't healed. He's just gonna try to play with the injury so I wouldn't count on last years Hill to show up day in and day out.
