What's up with players from USC?

Shaun Cody's a good player; he just had a hard time being motivated playing for terrible teams like the Lions and Browns(?).

Are you being sarcastic or serious? If you are serious what makes you say he is a good player? He has started 24 games in 5 years, 13 of which came last season where he only had 1/2 a sack and 21 tackles. I don't doubt you, just want to know why you think he's a good player?

I'm serious. He had a toe injury that cost him 10 games in 2006. Before Spagnolo came in I don't think he ever got quality coaching. When he's played he's been an active player. Just watching Lions games here and there I've thought that he's a guy who you can use and who has value in this league. He probably should be a 3-4 DE. What do I know, though? I defended Wendall Bryant.
