Last generation, the roles were completely reversed. Sony could do nothing wrong. It is pretty funny.

Agreed. When Sony fires the founder of the machine you know that the general public isn't the only one that knows it's an inferior machine.

Besides, I owned both the PS and PS2. I loved those machines. I am a "what have you done for me lately" gamer. So next generation if Sony has the better machine I will go back. For now there is no reason to go Sony.

Sweet my dad is sending me my old N64 with 4 controllers and a handful of games including Goldeneye, Super Mario, Mario Kart, Starfox, Donkey Kong, and Perfect Dark.

Goldeneye has the best multi-player game ever IMO.
Crap. I might have to buy one of these for those two games.

I have an N64...I should see if I can pick those games up anywhere for the kids. Give 'em something new to mull over. (that was for you, Mulli)

Get Starfox for sure! Hey, DCR. Doesn't 360 have a Starfox? Do I need a 360?

I wonder if a person can find a Wii in Chicago.

They are always available, if you want to spend $400 or you want to wait in line for hours.

I don't think you want one that bad.

No Starfox on 360. The Wii has it though.
I picture the inside of DCR's brain as having a bunch of Rolodex's...one for each gaming system, and all the games cataloged alphabetically. In seconds, he can tell you (by consulting his handy rolodex collection) if system has whatever game you need.

Flip, flip, flip...nope. No Starfox for 360.

Flip, flip, flip...yep..Wii has it.

Is it a lame present for a wifey?

I think it is a great gift.

Something like that.

I knew it!!

I actually thought starfox was overrated.

Now, if they would ever bring back Pilotwings like they said they were going to, I'd be in heaven.

starfox 64 was ok. Since we are talking about that one, that's ok.

Still very disappointed about Pilotwings. It keeps me up at night at times.

I just got a PS3 cause I liked the PS2 and I thought the Blue-Ray player would be nice with my new TV. Just watched Lord of the Rings (yeah, the first one, finally, thank you, DCR). Amazing!

I don't have any games yet :( cause I'm on a budget :( but would love to hear your suggestions. I like sports games and games where you can kick the crap out of an opponent. :)

Don't mention it, about the movie....

Be sure that you keep your receipt, and that you keep your box too. You need the UPC on there, so you can get your 5 free Bluray movies.

I think the promotion ended 1-31-08. Unless you bought your ps3 before then.

Guarantee that they will issue another one, if they haven't already. I haven't checked on it.

Yeah. I was ticked off about that, especially since the dudes at the store told me is was still valid.

I will check on it. Thanks!
