After losing Warner/Dansby and replacing them with dog-meat, when Hightower fumbled on the first or second play of the first pre-season game, I was pretty sure what we were in for this year.

Starting Derek Anderson and releasing #7. Seriously: Derek Anderson was worse than JaMarcus Russell in 2009. Once that happened, the season was going to be toast, because there was no Plan B.

Yep. Cutting #7 was bad enough after all the time spent under centre preseason and whiz blowing smoke up our ass, then Anderson after game two I knew we were done....only the weakness in the West would give us a chance.

I still don't think team is as bad as some are making out on here but we sure did suck.

Right after 1st game of the season. The Rams gave the Cardinals everything they could handle.

Felt we had a weak enough schedule to win this division with what was done in the offseason. We replaced Rolle, drafted a Lb, and brought in a Pass rusher. We had a Qb that had been in the system for 3 years. Surely he could beat the likes of the Panthers and our division rivals and win the division. I was thinking I would have to come around to liking what CKW was selling after we won our third title and were back in the playoffs. Afterall he did it with out Kurt Warner under center and Q scoring Td's. Alas it was not to be and when CKW cut Matt Leinart I did not think we had a chance of winning anything with the Qb's we had on the roster. This was what sealed it for me. He simply messed this one up bad with the Qb situation. I think he screwed up before by keeping Matt that long and not taking someone he could work with. Maybe that was forced by the FO but we will never know.

When Warner retired & followed it up in FA & the draft by not adding an edge rusher that would have a big impact on our pourous D.

I knew that something bad was wrong in the second quarter of the first playoff game. The pass protection was horrible and the qb had no time to throw the ball. After the third possession, DA was brought in to qb until he did something correct which turned out to be almost the rest of the entire game.

DA was throwing to the wide receivers and they might as well have been rocks instead of footballs with the way the passes were treated. I told my wife this is not the way this team should be handled because DA is a horrible qb.
