Fitzgerald would have every major record in football if he played for a QB like Jerry Rice did. We saw a sample of it with Warner when he dominated the playoffs. But imagine his stats if he had talent like Montana and Young throwing to him. Instead he has had Jeff Blake, Mckown, Kolb, D Anderson, max hall , Leinart, Skelton, etc. He should actually be considered the greatest just because of what he has accomplished with crap throwing to him.

I'm glad we are going to keep him and hopefully Palmer can stay healthy next year

It is how good of a player he actually is if one throws out stats, he does not complain and the epitome of a professional :)

He wasn't exactly lighting it up with Palmer. He's still a solid player who I'd love to keep around if he bites the bullet and trims his salary. Fitz loves his money though...

fitz was great but he became a average player 3 years ago
Totally missused imo the last 2 yrs as a slot WR who runs mostly short moving the chains routes. I still think the guys a stud & he will prove it if he is indeed done with the Cards after this season.

He restructured his contract this past off season to give the team cap room. On his previous contract he was due a balloon payment in the final year. He signed a new deal to let the Cardinals off the hook for that money. I don't see him as greedy.

He's one of only ten WRs in history to have 900 catches and 12,000 yards. And I know he was the youngest to reach one of those milestones, I can't remember which. He's a lock for the HOF, especially as he ain't done yet.

Means nothing in regards to him getting his money eventually. I've never heard of a player not restructuring when it comes to helping their team.

Fitz could really use a stable franchise QB but then again so could we.

I trust in our coaches. However I have my troubles when they moved Fitz our hall of farmer to a blocking short routes guy. Keeping in mind he has been hurt this whole year it seams. I hope we can work some magic with his salary. If we can't I will wait for his induction to the ring of honor. Playing the way he is used hurts Larry and that isn't good.

If he goes to another team they will play him in his spot on the field which can only help him. As a star that can still shine at 30 he deserves still to play his game. His long TD this year when he ran away for the score. That's our Larry.

Fitz is ill-used in BA's offensive schemes. We could have won games with offense instead of relying on the defense every game. Sad to see. I think that BA is weaning fans off of Fitz in preparation for trading him, if possible.

I think he has some trade value tbh. If traded most of his guaranteed money would hit us so his remaining salary on a different team would almost be like option years with no dead money should they cut him in the future. Obviously Minnesota has always been brought up cause he's from there. The Vikings make sense for football reasons too.

A.) they need help at WR
B.) they need a new co-Face Of The Franchise along with Teddy since AP will likely never play for them again

I think a 4-5th round pick isn't a bad deal...
