When Was The Last Time The Cards Used The Franchise Tag?

I been trying to think of the last player franchised but cant.. I think it was around the Plummer/Boston era.. Not saying either of them received it, but I think it was around then..

Just curious cuz Im wondering if we'll franchise Big..

I think that after the Eric Swann and Simeon Rice debacles...the Cards have been loathe to use the tag since.

I think Billy and Joe are right...Rob Moore was tagged, as was Lassiter.

Was Aeneas Williams tagged...and then the Cards lifted the tag?
