... What did we get in return? I apologize, but I can't remember. Whoever it was, I wish they would contribute to the team's bottom line. What good is a trade of a veteran if we don't get something of value in return?

I'm a horrible fan...I watch almost every game and didn't remember that he was even traded...

We got nothing, because we didn't traded him

Thanks, I thought I was losing my mind

Maybe TucsonDevil lost his :) ... or he was so much confused by the perpetual JJack DNP status that he thought he was actually traded.

The Chairs at NBA games get quite cold. Jackson keeps them warm for the suns players.

So far, wishing hasn't made it so. (Wishing for JJax' sake, so he can get some playing time.)

It is surprising that if he no longer fits into the Suns plans, he hasn't been accomodated with a trade.

And, TucsonDevel, I did get your dry wit. Keep up the good work :)

The Suns have 14 guys on the roster right now, but I think that they have to have 12 guys on the active list so if we did trade Jim Jackson then we'd have to get a player back in return unless Amare comes back to the active list. We're not going to get anything of value for Jim Jackson at this point. There's always the hope that a contending team will want him around the trade deadline, but we're a contending team and we don't want him so why would they.

I got it. He is just Buried behind Marion/Bell/Barbosa/Jones/House..etc and I guess now he is behind the guy they acquired from the wolves

I don't think he's behind Tshitsgerwilly. I think the Suns avoid putting JJax in during garbage time out of respect.

Obviously, D'Antoni and Jackson came to an agreement that he should save himself for the playoffs... what other reasons could there be? I mean JJax was intrumental last season... completely missing this season... COMPLETELY.

I believe I read that D'A asked JJax if he wanted to play in garbage time and Jimmy declined.

Jackson needs to play at least 20+ minutes to be effective. Even during the summer camp video he said he doesn't try hard in the summer and I think that pissed some people off. I mean everyone else is busting their ars. I don't expect the Suns to trade him because he will not report like he did last year.

Unfortunately, JJax's main value is a his expiring contract. He has simply not played well enough to get the minutes he seems to need. It's too bad it turned out this way.
