Taking a look back at this past weekend's action from across the SEC, there might've been a few results that may have surprised a lot of people across the conference.
Not only were there a notable amount of sweeps that took place, but the conference also saw a rematch of the 2024 College World Series Finals, which produced a shocking result as Texas A&M took two-of-three from the top-ranked Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville.
In addition to that, Alabama also dropped two-of-three games to Auburn in a series, while programs such as Texas and Arkansas continued their stellar starts to conference play.
As a result, there is now a two-way tie currently atop the SEC regular season standings, with a few other teams not far behind. There is also still one winless team remaining in SEC play coming out of the conference's fourth weekend of action.
Here is a look at the updated SEC baseball regular season standings following this past weekend's action, which shows where Alabama sits following their series loss at Auburn.
