Who Were They? The bad boy. Dylan was disaffected, always cool and ever mysterious. He also got the most contrived send-off of any character, marrying the daughter of a mobster who had ordered a hit on his father. Eventually, a hit was ordered on Dylan, but the daughter was killed instead, leaving Dylan devastated and prompting him to leave town.
Post '90210' Peak Possibly "Windfall," though too soon to tell; otherwise choices are slim, but we'd make it a tie between the reticent gay bird watcher he played in a "Will & Grace" appearance, and the Krusty the Clown sidekick he played on a "Simpsons" guest spot.
Post '90210' Nadir Appearing in a 2004 stage version of "When Harry Met Sally... " in London, promptly eviscerated by tough and nasty Brit critics.)
Where Are They Now? Perry, 40, is starring in NBC's "Windfall," which premieres Thursday and has been granted the network's vaunted 10 p.m. "ER" slot through the summer. The drama follows a group of friends who pool their money and win a record $386-million lottery jackpot. Complications, resentments and rifts inevitably follow.
The Outlook "You know, some actors aren't very gracious; I'm always trying to be gracious and act with a lot of tact... You'll never catch me throwing a phone."
Career Trajectory Climbing fast ... but from subterranean depths
I would make fun of people who watched this show, but I once liked 21 Jumpstreet during the Johnny Depp years.
I went to school with Jennie Garth from 6th grade to around 11th...I know she moved from Greenway to Apollo because no one at G'Way liked her. She was NOT a nice person, and that's as polite as I can put it. When she moved out to California she made it clear that she was moving out there to be a star. We all laughed at her--oh, well...I guess there's no telling, huh? I never thought she was that pretty. Her personality, for one, and that darn puggy nose...
I'm not usually so catty. Sorry.
I used to tell eveyone that I asked her to my senior prom when she was a freshman. She said F You and walked away. Of course, that never happened. No one would ever turn me down for prom. We're talking Moms 87 Maxima, Dinner at Bobby Macgees, dancing, flowers, tons of weed, and then a dine and dash Dennys brekkie at sunrise at i-17 and Bell. Not that that ever happened.
mmm, barros pizza.
I never drank in high school (goody-two-shoes), but the BK at 35th & Bell saw a LOT of me & my friends...such good times. Also Paesano at 43rd & T'bird. A lot of us worked there over the years...Mikes Liquor on 35th and Greenway. big hangout, and they never carded in the day. Carls Jr on 35th and Bell. Barros Pizza, once it opened, but all the mamacitas from Deer Valley would come down and girl fight in the parking lot.
But I think those that hated us the most were the folks who worked at the Jack in the Box on 35th and TBird. Poor bastards.
