Where Iowa State basketball stands in latest March Madness bracket predictions

The waiting game is almost over for Iowa State basketball.

The Cyclones were knocked out of the Big 12 Tournament after an action-packed, high-scoring quarterfinal with BYU. The Cougars held off the Cyclones for a 96-92 win on Thursday afternoon.

Iowa State is 24-9 going into Selection Sunday. The Cyclones will learn their NCAA Tournament fate when their seed, upcoming opponent and potential path to a national title are unveiled on Sunday night.

The Selection Sunday show is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT, and it will be available on CBS. Until then, here is one final look at bracketology projections for Iowa State, before the official NCAA Tournament bracket is released.
