LSU football turned in a hot week on the recruiting trail, pushing its 2026 atop the college football recruiting rankings.

Head coach Brian Kelly's staff picked up three commitments and brought the recruiting class to nine members, highlighted by the 2026 cycle's top wide receiver Tristen Keys, who chose the Tigers on Wednesday.

Two four-star prospects, cornerback Dylan Purter and wide receiver Jabari Mack, pledged on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Purter is the second defensive back in the group alongside safety Aiden Hall while Mack is the fourth wideout in addition to Keys, Kenny Darby, and Jakai Anderson.

The four pass catchers all rank inside the top 50 at their position, according to On3's Industry Rankings. Anderson, a native of New Orleans, was the first commitment of the cycle for Kelly.

Seven of the Tigers' nine commitments hail from Louisiana. Defensive lineman Richard Anderson, offensive lineman Jalan Chapman, Hall, Mack, and Anderson are from New Orleans. Darby is from Bossier City offensive tackle Brysten Martinez is from Gonzales.

Martinez is the No. 8 offensive tackle in the class while Chapman follows at No. 64. Anderson ranks first at his position, No. 3 in Louisiana, and No. 29 nationally.

LSU football now owns a top-three class across the board. On3 is the highest on LSU with 247Sports and Rivals both ranking the Tigers recruiting class No. 3 in the country. One of the reasons LSU isn't a consensus No. 1 has to do with the volume of recruits.

Some classes are already in the double-digits while LSU sits at nine recruits.

The Tigers will contend for the No. 1 class in the country when its all said and done.
