The St. John's Red Storm is enjoying one of the best college basketball seasons in school history.

But now they're looking for even bigger and better things as March Madness arrives.

Rick Pitino, in his second year as St. John's head coach, led the Red Storm to their first Big East regular-season outright championship in 40 years.

His team also won the Big East Tournament on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden with an 82-66 victory over Creighton.

St. John's is led by RJ Luis Jr., who was named Big East Player of the Year as well as Most Outstanding Player of the Big East Tournament.

Where will St. John's be seeded in March Madness?​

Rick Pitino's St. John's Red Storm enter the Big Dance with a 30-4 record and the Big East regular-season and tournament championships.

Before the Big East Tournament started, they were projected by many to be a No. 3 seed. However, with the tourney title, the Red Storm may now be a No. 2 seed.

Who does St. John's play in NCAA Tournament?​

St. John's will find out its first opponent in the 2025 NCAA Tournament on Selection Sunday, when the March Madness bracket is revealed at approximately 6 p.m.
