The Heat didn't want him last time either. There is no way a Butler trade happens without a 3rd team. The Suns appear to have no interest in moving on from Durant and they won't trade Book right now. So, if this happens it's going to be Beal. Not that I think this happens. If you believe this FO, you can forget about moving Durant.

If the Suns can't put together a hypothetical trade for Butler soon, it may not matter as the Suns slide down the playoff standings.

If this is the case, I'm not sure if it makes sense for next season either, when everyone is a year older.

I never imagined the Suns extending Durant. I thought this year would be the swan song and I was OK moving on if a title didn’t happen. So, I agree it doesn’t makes sense to run this team back again.

The Grizzlies are now the consensus betting favorites to be Jimmy Butler’s next team,per @DKSportsbook:
Grizzlies = +300
Suns = +400
Warriors = +450
Rockets = +500
Heat = +500
Moving from +3000 to +300 in 36 hours, and now ahead of Miami, Vegas must know something here

Even though I think Butler could help the Suns (if we give up Beal)? Man...this just fits the Suns pattern of going after another dude at the end of his career.

The Suns are the only team that is willing to offer Jimmy Butler the lucrative multi-year extension he desires, per @WindhorstESPN:“There's only one team that is ready to pay Jimmy Butler exactly what he wants, and that's the Phoenix Suns."

“The Memphis Grizzlies and a couple other teams have been told to not trade for Jimmy Butler.”Notes he doesn’t want to play there and will not re-sign with them.

Why?? Is Ishbia terminally stupid? If nobody else is willing to pay him that much that should tell you something.

We don't need an even older injury prone dude with a terrible contract.

Yeah… if we double down with massive extensions for KD/Jimmy, we got a total moron running the team.

Thing is, who is running the team?

Jones did an okay job getting us youth and flexibility. Ishbia wiped that out. So who's pulling the trigger on these moves now?

I get Jones did have some blunders, but we have to ask; If we had a cheap owner, where would we be?

suns will never get butler - ever

I think this is Butler saying he wants to go to the Suns only since its been reported that teams (grizz) should stay away from Butler as he will not play for them.

he's 35 - he's good at his position but we're all stocked up there - this doesn't make any sense to me - we need centers and real power forwards that can defend and rebound

Better off, surely. There can't be any doubt about who is calling the shots. Jones is a figurehead.

we have no available money to spend

we have no available picks to trade

You must be registered for see images attach

and nobody in their right minds is taking nurk and paying beal - it would take more than a drunken three-way

this all leads me to assume jimmy butler will absolutely 100% be a phoenix sun when all this madness is done - and if we include dunn i might be done
