Shams Charania talks about the Suns adding draft picks, maybe to trade for Jimmy Butler?

Personally, I hope the Suns are still shopping.

Oh we are shopping.. shopping at dollar general but we are shopping..

Good. I'm tired of the Suns overspending.

Check out the trade market on Daniel Gafford, Deni Avdija, Isaiah Steward, Robert Williams and anyone else that looks interesting.

The Suns do not need to overspend on the center position. A power forward and reasonably priced center would do nicely.

I'm not even convinced that Butler is an upgrade over Beal.
Oh yes. He is an upgrade in the role he plays on the team. Having Beal and Booker on the same team never made sense. But in the locker room, how long will it take for Butler and KD to get into conflict.

This is a desperation win now move that has little chance of success. We have become the Nets.

He is absolutely an upgrade from availability alone. I just don't think he is enough of an upgrade to turn things around and end up paying the piper later for an extension.

Jimmy is also perpetually injured.

and self made super rich people do not become so by being good at tiddly winks…

There are no shortage of self made fabulously rich people who have been inept franchise owners.

The insurance industry is built on risk assessment and he clearly is not using any risk assessment when it comes to roster building.

So far we’ve seen one high priced, huge risk mistake after another.

I like his off the court ideas and his attempts to build the fan base, but his roster meddling has been incompetent and disastrous.

I have not checked this year but I don't think Butler is as bad as Mr. Glass. Seems like Beal stubs his toe and he is out. I think this year could be 6 straight seasons for Beal not playing at least 60?!?!

At this rate, it would be a stunner if Jimmy Butler isn’t traded to the Suns by the end of this week. After their trade with the Jazz, Phoenix is helping appease the Heat and other facilitating teams with draft capital. There is a ton of momentum from all sides to reach a deal.

Of course we are the one's overpaying, as always.

Honestly don’t dislike Beal but dude can’t stay on the floor and is inconsistent when he is on the floor. Butler would definitely be an upgrade defensively and can create his own offense and doesn’t shrink to big moments!

Prior to the finals year, I never thought we'd have guys be a part of this organization, such as:

CP3
Crowder
EG
KD
Beal
and now Jimmy Butler

It's really not hard to get old guys and over pay them.

CP3, Beal and Butler are all bad contract guys. Regardless of their rep you don't win with bad contracts because they destroy your depth.
