It sounds like some trade reports concerning Bradley Beal are incorrect.

By Duane Rankin Arizona Republic, Updated 3:54 p.m. MT Jan. 22, 2025:

Speaking with The Arizona Republic at length, Bartelstein said, “the reports that are out there are created out of thin air,” that Beal would lift his no-trade clause if Milwaukee, Denver, Miami or the Los Angeles Lakers were trade destinations.

“Brad’s entire focus has been and is on getting healthy with his ankle and helping turn things around for the Suns,” Bartelstein said.

I’m sure a lot of these types of reports regarding Beal will be happening over the next few weeks.

Bartelstein (Beal's agent) issued a statement on behalf of Beal saying that Beal is looking forward to making this work with the Suns.

This is true I can confirm this for sure.. The Waffle House gang is hard at work.

Lets make some moves today so we can enjoy our weekend!

By saying true I can confirm this does not mean I spoke to his agent.. I just read the same thing.

I call it posturing…

We forget, where there’s smoke there’s fire.

At this point I would only be surprised if Butler is not in a Sun’s uniform soon.

By all accounts Beal is not happy coming off the bench. If the Suns don't budge here I won't be shocked if magically Beal is open to being moved.

If..., if the Suns get Butler for Beal, and it somehow works, it transforms the energy and results in wins, even a couple against the top teams, there is no physical law that prevents us from going on a run in the playoffs. Just saying. We will improve with a dog like Jimmy, and Richards, so if Booker and Durant turn it on then... Why not. But I don't believe it.

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the problem. We need to find someone that actually wants to have Beal and his ridiculous contract first.
The list might be small but there is always a sucker in every bunch.

It’s our only hope…

“Look Around the Poker Table; If You Can’t See the Sucker, You’re It.”

The Suns are the You in this phrase.
Possibly. However, weird things happen all the time in the NBA and teams do things that scratch your head.

Nobody....and I mean nobody had on their bingo card Utah trading 3 first round picks for our one 1st round pick which opened up the next 6 drafts for the Suns. Everybody was on the "no possible moves left" train. I was listening to Utah radio after that and fans there were in disbelief that Utah would do it.

I actually like Butler as a player. If the circumstances with the Suns were completely different, it would be fun to have him on the team. Getting him now would be stupid for all of the reasons everyone else has pointed out, but those reasons don't have much to do with Butler himself -- well, you know, aside from his age, salary, and injury history.
